Heck yeah, man, I've been looking forward to this! I was surprised with some of the strats in sector 1, that's always a struggle for me. Especially the 360 ramps before the mushroom, I always lost time in there. I also find this as my favorite rainbow road. I agree with the sentiment of it being a complex yet straight forward course. But I think that's most of the reason I like it, and it also looks freaking gorgeous. Thank you for doing this, I'm definitely putting these tips to practice as soon as possible!
Hi bayesic ! Did you see that a new strat has been discovered 2 days ago where you jump of the track well before the moon? It doesn't save that much time but it's fun to watch. We all thought 2 weeks ago that all strats was discovered x) Anyway thank you for this tutorial !
Would love it if the Double Dash Rainbow Road was added. There's some really tricky sections including a double hairpin at the start that I'd love to see in 8DX. But I think Wii Rainbow Road is getting in instead.
Wii U rainbow road has brake turns, fast glider, and multiple shortcuts. It absolutely still deserves your S tier course ranking. But this new one is pretty fun too.
For the boost panels at the start, the alignment you want to look for when starting the chain of mini turbos is to aim toward the top right corner of the second boost panel, and then its pretty easy from there.
section 1 combines all the Strats that are just out of reach for me as of today, so much trouble with these mini turbo in mid air Strats, worse is super bounce, I guess it's good practice for me then!
Section 1 is some super fun driving, too bad it's so laggy online I don't do the Kusaan slide, but I do like using the left MT to set up my super bounce alignment.
Does DK have the same stat distribution as Waluigi or was there some other reason why he was chosen here? Also I think this RR is probably the best track in the game in terms of visuals, the rainbow you drive on is so beautiful. Thanks as always for a great vid!
Hello Bayesic! I really like your all tutorial videos! While I was watching this video, I came up with a question. Can you please answer my question? From 3:34~3:43, you are hanging off your front wheels. How did you hang off your wheels from the edge of the road? Could you please let me know how you can do this?(In my opinion, creating a guide video about this technique might be really great and helpful for some noob mk8 players if you can...!) And please let me know what this technique's name is. I realized that other WR players also hang off their wheels from this part, but I can't understand how you and they can do this. I tried to hang off my wheels from the verge, but I keep falling off... If you let me know in detail, I'd really appreciate it! Thank you so much in advance! :)
Theres not really a name, you kind of just drift tightly enough that only your back wheels are on the track It’s easier with bigger karts like biddybuggy and silver arrow, and doesn’t work well with bikes like scooty
Have you all tried downloading the record runs and chasing them? It really helps with my lines and timing! They always get away from me eventually but I'm smashing my old times now
Wow. This video was 9 minutes long but it really didn't feel like it. That's the sign of a incredibly engaging video!
The best RR
in mk8d*** IMO its mkwii lol maybe im bias though
64 is still the best. Too bad these tracks aren't still 3 laps.

I saw that. It’s apparently a lot more precise than it looks
I'm starting to really appreciate technical tracks because of your training guides! Looking forward to 3DS Rainbow Rd.!
Thanks for this in-depth tutorial on my favourite course :) Your quality is always top and you deserve a lot more subs. Keep it up!

This is definitely one of my hardest courses, thanks for uploading a guide!

Thanks for the upload. I just started grinding the track two days ago. This will help!

Well, the newest WRs seem to have something to say about this.

He’s the same as Waluigi and Roy. Just wanted to mix it up a bjt
Yeah, they're the same statwise. We're just trying to inject some variety here.
