Same with the ereader! My husband actually came across some cheap ones in a discount store that was closing down in like 2014 or something and he was going to buy one for each of us but I wasn't sure I would be into it anyway so I told him to just buy one. Good thing too. I only ever read a couple chapters of one book on it, and my husband never touched it at all. Not even once. Needless to say we don't have it anymore lol.
You’re definitely so funny! And just your videos are fun and cute!! But my favorite glasses were the lavender ones!!! All the glasses fit your face well, but I liked the subtle lavender the most.
That's crazy, I just borrowed A Secret History from my library on my Kindle, I'm about to start reading it today. And I love the transparent glasses with brown ear bits the best.
persepolis!! is!! really!! good!!! although it handles quite a tough topic, i think the way it's drawn and written, makes you feel what the author felt, how she was kind of a child, kind of not knowing what's going on, and it's really honest. i think you'll love it! (at least i did)
All those glasses look so good on you! My favorites though were the pink pair and the brown-arm pair. :) I use the app Libib to keep track of my TBR pile because you can scan the barcodes in whenever you buy a new book; it’s very easy. I don’t understand how people have a whole TBR shelf because every few days you have to reorganize your bookshelves to move your read books over and that sounds like too much work for me... :z
I’m currently reading Persepolis in the original French as a way to practice and loving it!! It is a little stressful in that it’s set during wartime, but it’s not particularly graphic (ha) or disturbing. Still very “all-readers” friendly.

Carolina Persuasion imo is Jane Austen’s dark horse underrated novel. It is SO sweet and autumnal and beautiful.
Anna Hill thank you Anna, yes I’ve heard that too. Got the book at a public library annual sale and was very excited to score it for $1. Can’t wait to read it. Thank you for validating my purchase!
The pink or purple ones! And I have also put A Secret History on my short listed tbr pile. Looking forward to reading that soon :3
“To B R” what a precious human being you are!
You’re definitely so funny! And just your videos are fun and cute!! But my favorite glasses were the lavender ones!!! All the glasses fit your face well, but I liked the subtle lavender the most.
Thank you for making me realize that it is okay to have unread book. Also, I love how honest you are, keep the good work!
Well next time I get new glasses I'm trying clear ones because they look so good!
I am reading the Complete Persepolis right now for history and I’m really enjoying it.
Reading those graphic novels for the Reading Rush would help you read a lot of books that week!
(at least i did)
I just picked up Persepolis the other day 😊 excited to read it. I think my most anticipated on my tbr pile is A Ladder to the Sky by John Boyne
I have multiple spreadsheets and goodreads shelves and I like the purple glasses also please read Persepolis you will love it
All those glasses look so good on you! My favorites though were the pink pair and the brown-arm pair. :)
I use the app Libib to keep track of my TBR pile because you can scan the barcodes in whenever you buy a new book; it’s very easy. I don’t understand how people have a whole TBR shelf because every few days you have to reorganize your bookshelves to move your read books over and that sounds like too much work for me... :z
Loved the purple ones best! And the classic clear/black ones
Its funny you mention not liking the e-reader. I tried one but I'm more tactile. I enjoy the feel of a book in my hands and the smell of the pages.
I’m currently reading Persepolis in the original French as a way to practice and loving it!!
It is a little stressful in that it’s set during wartime, but it’s not particularly graphic (ha) or disturbing. Still very “all-readers” friendly.
the last glasses are my favourites :)
Keira Knightley is the absolute best!
lovely video as always 💕
I love the pink tinted ones! Also I love your energy towards books so much
I have one teeny tiny shelf, to put my tbr on. So if this is full i first have to read these to get space again. And goodreads of course.
All of the glasses are beautiful and suit you sooo well! The sunglasses though! 😍😎 Absolutely great!
I didn't find Persepolis stressful or hard to read at all! I read it in one day and LOVED it! it's my favorite graphic novel EVER
