Hey Gorgin!!! Thanks for watching. It is a Trailgater. It had some great reviews, so I took the plunge. It is great quality, has a no drill install, and it does not rattle or make noise. It is solid and works out great.
This is a free dispersed camp spot along Hopkins prairie. There are so many cool spots along the trail that runs along the south of the prairie. No need to use the campground unless you need the pit toilets! Have fun!!!!
@@jasielroman6518 we have come in from both sides. Closer to the formal campground, but out on the prairie is more wide open. The north and west side is more in the trees. You really can’t go wrong either way.
FYI, don't get caught disperse camping in the Ocala National Forest in your RTT!!! Hefty fine. Must be 100 feet away from your vehicle and 100 feet away from water. I mean, i dont care what you do, but maybe you didnt know. Just food for thought! I hate this rule!
Yes, we were and are aware. They have that to prevent all the meth heads. I have not had an issue so far after multiple trips. I would hope that a ranger would be at least halfway cool considering our awesome setup!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤪
@mayer7196 Question I seen your comment about dispersed camping is it okay to disperse camp at Hopkins prairie in a tent? Never been there but plan on going there in the next few weeks but I seen your comment about you have to be 100 ft away from your vehicle and water?
@ anywhere in Ocala’s National Forest requires you to be 100 fr away from water or your vehicle when disperse camping. Also keep in mind there are only certain times of the year you can disperse camp (you can’t during hunting season). Now are they strict? No idea. I am just telling you what the ranger station head boss told me when I asked what the rules were.
Looks Fun !
It is a great place to camp, relax, and unwind!!
Solid
Thanks! It is a great place to explore and a cool area to camp.
@@FiveAngelsOutdoor I need to come out there as soon as I get my bronco set up.
Still trying to pick out a roof top tent
Sounds great!!! I have camped there with ground tent fine as well.
Nice peaceful campsite. Thanks for sharing. Your setup is great!
Thanks!!! We do have some good spots down here in Florida 😀
Cool drone shots. We were there last weekend in the campground section.
That is a nice campground. We drove through it a couple of times. I like all of the oak trees.
Hi Mark. Great vid as always. What brand is your kitchen table setup? Looks light weight and functional. Thank you

Hey man I’m gonna be heading out there this weekend myself. Is this off a trail? Opposite of the official campsite? Was this free?

@ I was wondering if they even enforced it. Stupid rule if you ask me! Setup is sweet!
