Hi mate. When you drained the coolant bottle. Was that drain valve connected to the whole cooling system draining the entire system. Cheers

Hi Great video easy to follow. Is this same procedure for a Holden Barina TM ? I imagine it would be just only difference would be the location of the overflow bottle ?

If you live in as area where the temperature goes down guite a bit more than 10 degrees below freezing during the winter you can run 55 coolant / 45 % distilled water.

What type of coolant did you use?

Typically I use a penrite brand

Hi, I have a 2014 Chevrolet Sonic, so to add new coolant, loosen the bleeder screen and fill the overflow tank, where is the old type of pressure release valve that use to be on radiator cap...

The pressure cap is on the coolant expansion bottle.

Is this the same thing as flushing the cooling system?

this is more of a drain and refill. flushing often involves pumping fluid through often in the opposite direction to clean out any corrosion etc
