Indeed, the new 14" looks way better in silver.

I'm a big fan of silver. Incredibly happy. Recording my next video on it as I type!

Would be good for iMovie editing ? Or would a 14 M1 pro 16gb model be better for my needs

It depends. If it's non commercial (not making money from it work) then the 16GB M1 Pro is PLENTY. Wayyy more than enough.
That said you do like to game on your Mac (although this can't run windows) so there would be benefits to M1 Max with the graphics cores...

Decided to go with a gaming laptop it has a i7 11th gen 8 core cpu and Rtx 3070 with 16gb ram what is upgrading to 64gb soon.

@@pattontheapplegamer5437 Wow! A twist I didn't expect. Ditching Mac for Windows. Just felt it was better value or wanted a better gaming machine? Those are hot specs and as you said you can upgrade the ram yourself. :)

@@ImLeeLoi yeah it’s exciting change, just hope I can get to grips windows 11 as it seems to be sort of 8 like with the changes

Thank for the 30 minutes of productivity I just lost going down a brutalist design rabbit hole! I appreciate the distraction.

Hahaha we love taking an extended Lunch break. If your in the mood for more brutalist design a great film by Ben Wheatley is called "High Rise" and sure enough if takes place in a Apartment tower that is BRUTAL! :D
