@JB360_NYC I think if you can get rid of that Wobble you'll go even faster. My bike was doing 85mph with 273 on 72v with no field weakening. Smaller wheels faster accelerating. I don't know what inch you said but you may be able to find motorcycle tires that will fit maybe a dual sport will take care of that speed Wobble. I know what that speed feels like on a bike so with that Wobble you got some big ones bro lol congrats again. I guarantee more and more people are gonna be switching to that motor. @@JB360_NYC that's an interesting observation 5turn windings in theory should have lower rpm slower top speed but much higher torque but then again these controllers are pretty crazy.
@@JB360_NYC Do you know what kind of motor you have on your Stealth bomber? I am curious about how are those three and a half turns wound? Any pics of the motor hub inside, stator width, laminations, turns and wire numbers, etc..? Nice video, you just skipped the hub motor.
@@DeksZagreb the 3.5T winding is great. It's a good balance between torque and top end in my opinion. I actually had a 3.5T on my X-class with the 3000w hub motor. Amazing acceleration overall.

Hey JB i have a question for you i was wondering why you went with the 72680 fardriver instead of the 72850 that the E-Bike Guy went with I'm thinking of getting a new Controller for my Stealth bomber 8000kw right now I have the Sabvoton 72150 and i have the 40.6 ah battery and my BMS is 150amps i will have to get a new battery im sure but can you give me any advice as to what size battery and witch fardriver i should go with im not very tech savvy but i think i could figure it out. I just don't know what size ah battery i should go for and what size should my bms be on the battery if you could let me know and give me any advice I would surely appreciate it so much. I know that your bike speed would be plenty fast enough for me. Does your bike lift the front wheel off the ground as to power wheelies i would like my bike to be able to do power wheelies. If you could please give me any advice I would really appreciate it so much. Please ride safe buddy.
Yea so the 72680 Fardriver is plenty for me. I believe it can actually go faster than 80mph because I have field weakening turned off. In terms of battery, I would say look for a pack that has a peak BMS of 450amps or higher for these Fardrivers. The pack I have peaks at around 650amps with a continuous amperage of 200amps. I'll be doing a proper range test as soon as my knee heals up but so far, Northeast battery has been holding up great so far.
How is your battery constructed - ie: are the cells touching and glued together, or are they separated slightly. Either way, either some direct airflow action is needed to keep battery temp down. Fan or duct.
Thats a cool way to mount the controller. I also have the same controller on my dirtbike. Its 96V version but the amps are same. If you had some holes on the side panels (that you could easily seal if there is rain) the battery would maybe stay cooler. Just a though

The motor I have is the 3.5T actually. It's technically supposed to have the best of both worlds for Torque and top end. As far as I know, the 5T has better torque numbers than the lower windings.
@JB360_NYC Yeah, I thought this. I just saw a link you provided to someone, and it was the 5T version. Thats one hell of a bike dude! Im looking to build my own bike on a stealth bomber frame. Goal is to push it to 20kw with a BAC8000 or a sabvoton 72200 (prolly the BAC 8000) and a QS273, however im kinda stuck on the battery... I dont have the equipment nor the knowledge to build my own battery, do you have any suggestions about my build and/or a good battery manufacturer? Cheers and keep up the vids :)
For sure BAC is the way to go! In terms of battery supplier, I would look at E-Street Bikes or Powerful Lithium. Just let them know the specs/cells you're looking for.
JB tell me the winding of your motor and the RPM with load. I want to build a 70-80mmph monster as well. Also what is your opinion on dual batteries on the stealth bomber, can I use a battery blender to install 2X 72V 40ah batteries?
@@freerunbg1 the winding on my 273 is 3.5T. I haven't measured out RPMs in a while but I'll check next time when I ride it. For any battery addition, I would definitely recommend not using a blender only because it hinders the output of the batteries for some reason. But def direct parallel the batteries once you have them at the same voltage.
@@JB360_NYC I assume you have a 72V battery and the controller, has a max voltage up to 90V. The controller allows you to reach at least 82V from your battery and you are reaching 70-80MPH. That's another way to get a quick speed boost as it increases the RPM of the motor probably 1150+ RPM from 850RPM initially. You may try another Canadian motor (forgot the name of the company), which is high quality and can reach up to 1200RPM at a 5000W hub motor, it will be much better for your battery.
E-ride Pro if you want something fast right out of the box. Surron, only if you can get a good price for it like under $3500 and plan to spend on mods. The Stealth Bomber if you prefer a bigger bike and are used to the power of hub motors.
Loving the Stealth bomber especially with the new controller. Cops for me have never really given me an issue. The ones I've spoken to want to get one for themselves lol.

Hey man. For your own safety, i would recommend getting some motorcycle brakes. You'll probably have to make some custom mounts or have some made. Ride safe! Sick bike overall man.
@@philaell I emailed them about a year ago asking about this because I was looking into building a bomber-style bike, too. I looked for the email but can't seem to find it. I'll look again later when I have time, but they essentially said they will not be liable if the brakes fail because they would not be used under manufacturer specifications. That may just be them trying to cover their own asses, but for me, I don't mess around with brakes. These bikes are just that in name alone- what they really are motorcycles. Motorcycle manufacturers would use bicycle brakes if they thought they were sufficient, but they don't. That's really the only evidence I need.
Hey JB360 where did you get those pedals? Also I have a Bomber as well and am wondering what type of pegals do you use for the bike? Do you have a link? Is the installation pretty easy? Thanks bruh
You can find them here: hightailebikes.com/products/pegale Installation wasn't that bad but you definitely need a crank puller. Also, not sure if your bomber is like mine but I had to remove the crank arm and front sprocket as they were welded together. Because of this I had to remove my chain.
That tire issue is why Im changing my rims to 17 or 18 inch. Besides 20 inch rims there are little to no go options for street tires. I havent been able to find a MPH option in the fardriver app either. The app sucks but I love the controller. There is a guy on youtube who is building a bomber with 20 inch rims. Looks pretty cool. I think his name is Rook. Ill post a link if I find him again. I think hes in newyork too.

maybe I am an idiot but how did you get the tire so balanced?
I still have the stock tires on so I haven't really balanced them but I'll be swapping them out pretty soon.
@@JB360_NYC I have thought about using rim weights.. IDK shit about balancing a tire with a load though. I guess its the god damn same if you put it on a frictionless pully. Nice build though mate. I have gone through 3 motors already tearing up the wires on the god damn brake rotor..

What's better using the 72680 compared to the sabvoton..?
Oh yea it's like night and day. The Fardriver pushes a ton more amps out while still keep the motor temp relatively cool. You're also not limited or locked out of certain features like the Sabvoton.
I see you got a licences plate what did you regristed as a scooter or mopeed and how much to register?
You would have to register it as an electric moped. The registration fees for NY cost about $100. Just note fees differ from state to state

Hi, if you got 80mph with the QS273 5T, does this mean the QS273 3.5T would have a better top end again? Thank you Jeff
Could you please tell me the best fardriver controller for a 72v qs273 set up and also a 96v qs273 set up. Am in the middle of configuring my battery pack. Thats one hell of a bike dude! Im looking to build my own bike on a stealth bomber frame.
@@JB360_NYC Cheers bro, will look into it! :)

As one of the OG's who used this frame and had it snap in half on me while riding....I would NEVER go above 50mph on this frame.
