Thank you so much for demonstrating this so well. It is a much more easily manageable and accurate method than surface crochet with a hook, I think. Thanks again!
Great! First thing I needed to do this morning on my project but wasn't sure how. This was the first video I saw and was just perfect! Thank you for explaining so great! Definitely subscribing for more good info!
BonnieBayCrochet thank you Bonnie for posting this video, I'm going to try the technique on a project I'm working on ... thank you for sharing these tips !!
Great video! Clear and concise instructions, easy to follow. Thank you so much! I needed an extra layer over an already knitted piece to give it a pop. I will be using this stitch to finish the project!
The baby blanket came out great. I'm pretty proud of my first attempt at embroidery. Thank you again for the great tutorial! I'm having trouble uploading the picture to show you though. Any suggestions on how to get the pic up?
not really sure, but i following everything you do but my first stitch when i wrap it around the needle is not making a loop? it just comes undone? any tips?
I'm having trouble seeing what you're doing with the yarn ends specifically. When you make the chains, do you want the needle to be closer to the tail threaded through the needle's eye or the tail on the other side of the piece? I think your camera is too close because I can't see what the yarn is doing when you're stitching.
You didn’t show the back side, is the stitch seen on the back? I’m trying to embroider on a blanket and do not want the lettering seen on the back. Would this be the right stitch?

I just want another tutorial where the lady did it with a crochet hook it's kind of like slip stitching on the surface and essentially you're doing the same thing with an embroidery needle which in the long run I think might be a little bit easier like I said I'm trying to stitch the letters u g u e on a couple hats I made like I said it's for a RUclips channel that I watch I told him I make him a couple winter hats and I did and I wanted to put the name of their RUclips channel on their hat
Yes, I've tried the other method, but I think using the tapestry needle gives you a bit more control over where the stitches will be, especially for letters.
Ah, thank you! I have been looking at multiple videos trying to embroider a daisy onto a baby afghan and this was the easiest and prettiest stitch! :D

BonnieBayCrochet thank you Bonnie for posting this video, I'm going to try the technique on a project I'm working on ... thank you for sharing these tips !!
This method is so much easier than just threading the needle through the loop. Just wrap it and pull! xD Brilliant!
So simple and so useful! Will be back for more😉😊
I love this! Wanted a small stitch in order to sew my friend's name onto the brim of a crochet hat. Thank you!!
Wish I found you 6 weeks ago. I had a request to add a name & had no idea how to start. Saved for the future.
Great video! Clear and concise instructions, easy to follow. Thank you so much! I needed an extra layer over an already knitted piece to give it a pop. I will be using this stitch to finish the project!

This is not a reversible stitch. It may show a bit on the back side.
I cannot find your video on how to hide the wool the is?
Is this something that can be used to add lettering to an afghan? Like a name or something?
Sure!
What if it’s on a 3D finished piece like amigurumi? I can’t find a tutorial anywhere on how to add letters to a finished piece
It' shouldn't make any difference as long as you are adding these stitches evenly.
you mention something about weaving the ends on the wrong side but i don't see another video for that
