So! I looked at SOOOOO many other videos trying to find something to help me (I suck at zone and I'm okay with directional, but I'm really good with timing....usually)....but my trouble was, I couldn't predict where the freaking pitch was gonna go....I put my hitting to amerture and pitching to that as well (yes, yes I know, it not really "fun anymore", but I was tired of sitting in the minors swinging at everything cause I thought it would be in more.) Your video has helped me not only get to the majors within like 10 minutes of playing, but it also has helped me improved every single attribute!! I've now turned the fielding back on because when I was simming it was going down, but besides that, your video helped so freaking much!!! Ty!!!!
I'm working on a speedster so baserunning on is a must, upgrading stealing isn't to hard either even if you don't get the base if you have a good jump right as the pitcher starts his wind-up you'll get progress
It's taking me FOREVER to level up my attributes even with doing what he says. I've got 20 hours in and my 2 way player is 77 overall. What am I doing wrong?
How does the pitcher throw you fastballs down the middle every time I had it set to where it does it and then I tried changing the settings and I lost it please help
I completed my diamond program and have all diamond equipment and I’m still at 85 I already have 200 career home runs in the MLB and broke all single season records and I’m still at 85 wtf
@@noirjakey when it happened to you, was it right after doing something with diamond dynasty, like adding a player to your line up? I’ve tried to figure out what causes it and the only thing I can think is that it has to do with diamond dynasty.
I’ve equipped my silver archetype/skill set and the Silver tasks don’t track. Unfortunately I’ve read from a ton of people who have played MLB the Show for years that it can be a bug
The only thing I’m confused at is my overall. I have the diamond program, 124 power and 105 contact and my guy is only 85 overall with all diamond perks. Then when I used him on a different road to the show and made him a first baseman instead of a cf like he is on my main rtts, he was a 92 overall. Is it because his fielding isn’t that good and u need better fielding for cf than u do for first baseman? That’s all I can think of
For fielding you wanna get diamond sunglasses and a diamond glove. This will help tremendously. For speed, you need to have diamond socks and diamond cleats. You also just gotta keep playing to get those attributes up to 50, it’s a grind but you gotta do it to max your guy out. I will more than likely make a follow up video going over all that. Hope this helps in the meantime!
Stop at 1st base anytime you don't hit a home run. As long as you're on low difficulty, you can steal second without even taking an extra lead, which will cut down on pickoff attempts. 2nd to 3rd also pretty easy, but best to do it with one extra lead. Important thing though, change it so that you are there for teammates entire at bats, otherwise they'll most likely hit, strike out, or walk on the first pitch. Do this in settings > General > Misc > Player Lock CPU Teammate Hitting - All. Once you get to 3b, sim to next appearance.
So go to the top left corner and a or x. From there you’ll see your cap. Right where it says see all ball players you can hit that and load up the player you wanna grind
Wtf is this diamond dynasty everybody keeps talking about in the comments, idek what that is, I feel like the game isn’t very beginner friendly at all it doesn’t explain a lot
There’s this glitch that I have no clue how to do consistently when you have a grind roster where if you sim the team will score like 1000+ runs and you get 100’s of AB’s and it boosts your stats a ton in one game I have no clue how it works I’ve only had it happen to me in the minors
I wish Randy Marsh was the SS for the Mariners haha. I’m already out on J.P. Crawford unfortunately. He’s not bad, but he’s not great. I made myself as a two way player that closes and plays right field. I used to actually do that when I played so it’s really cool to actually be able to do it in the game finally!
Every team would be better off with a Randy Marsh haha. And yeah the two way player option is sick. I usually don’t make a pitcher, but I might have to this year!
how long did it take you to get called up ? i’m also ss for the mariners and i have the gold skill set unlocked. 74 ish overall highest ss in the org, i’ve got 90 HRs in the first half of the year but still haven’t even been called to AAA
Pretty sure your player has to be close to the same overall as the starter above you. AA is def the hardest to get out of tho. Took me like 80 games and then only 15 n AAA before I got brought up to MLB
@@SmokyOkilla I’ve been stuck in triple a for multiple seasons. Do I have to play the games to get called up cause I still had really good stats and I didn’t get called up
@Mr Squidward are you simulating thru the seasons? Cuz then I wouldn't know I usually play all my games so i guess you should be. I was playing for the Yankees and tried skipping to the hr derby and they threatened to kick me back to double a lol so I stop siming.
You got to start with Bronze, then silver, then gold, and finally you get to diamond. It’s a grind but doing this will make it much quicker to finish. The challenges revolve around hitting, and this will get you much more XBHs per game
@Bill Brasky I’ve equipped my silver skill set but my silver tasks don’t track. I’ve tried googling things to fix it but some folks say it’s just a bug. Any recs?

This is my first year playing the game and I'm so lost
Practice, practice, practice
Me too
Bro same!!!! Like is there attributes I can upgrade or I just upgrade through how I play in games?
it used to be so much simpler
For real 😭😭😭
I'm working on a speedster so baserunning on is a must, upgrading stealing isn't to hard either even if you don't get the base if you have a good jump right as the pitcher starts his wind-up you'll get progress
How did you get your speed maxed out. I wanted to focus on speed like on the old games but it wasn’t a option. Can all players be 99 speed now?
People talking about diamond dynasty when this is specifically for a road to the show
It's taking me FOREVER to level up my attributes even with doing what he says. I've got 20 hours in and my 2 way player is 77 overall. What am I doing wrong?
Do the program
Lmao r u doing good or bad
Not changing your perks, not equipping quality gear, just plain overall sucking at the game😂

How did you get your fielding attributes up? I’m playing CF and my arm and reaction are so low. Is there a quicker way to build them?
Same here. CF is so fun but the only downside is my noodle arm.
Can I sim seasons to max the base stats after I complete the diamond program
Literally got called to the show in 2 seasons 😂💯
What batting stance do u use
Anyone get the glitch where your player will go from A to an F potential rating

This my first time playing..how do i upgrade player..my tasks are not going up when i complete one
I hit 6 home runs cause of you thx

how long did it take to get him maxed out?
How do I make him throw harder my guy is acurrate asf but can’t throw far how do I make that better????? Please help
Anyone know how to get past bronze program stars? I’m at over 400 and I’m on my second character. Both players r bugged I need help

The silver should just be unlocked so just change it
Go to skill set and your silver program should be unlocked then equip it

How do I pick up speed.
I’m on a PS5 so I have no clue how to get to player lock
I just want to know can someone please tell me if I can get me player's power over 99?? All I care about is hitting 600ft home runs
Yes my power is 120
@@parker-nv4ts does that actually translate? Like is there a noticeable difference between 120 and 99? And how can I get my player that high

You can use the same player and start a new career mode and it all saves?? I mad a cf but I’d want to make a ss or even catcher. Thanks!
Is it bad to stay on beginner mode, thru out the rtts season
What’s the best way to get fielding and speed? At least speed, I’ll probably just DH my guy but having him in the field would be awesome. Thanks!
