- We’re into Tasmania's remote temperate rainforests on the hunt for the next big gold deposit. I've had a few over the past few years but one thing about larger deposits like this is they are extremely rare and unique and once found only last a few days or weeks before it's time to pack-up camp and go in search of new prospects.
I'm currently in the transitional stage hunting down the next location, with spring just around the corner I'll be targeting some of the smaller creeks, with good amounts of rainfall providing adequate water to snipe. Prospecting has taken me to some of the most incredible places I could only have imagined, remote areas that only a handful of people would have ever seen in history. Unnamed waterfalls, gorges and rainforests with trees dating back to over 3000 years old. Today's video is one of these adventures and I'm so glad that I can bring these places to life for all to experience.

I am not done with your video yet. But I got to the point where you say you are TLSOAB on the planet. It has probably been at least three years I have been following your channel. I suspect, like all of us, you wonder if you should do something else to provide for your family. Given the videos i have watched of you, this is no worry. Produce quality, the needs will be fullfilled. What I want to say is thank you. You fill my mind with possibilities of adventure, and I love it. Again, thanks for all your hard efforts. Just editing the vids is a huge job, let alone collecting the content.

The gold is just a bonus, the real treasure is the adventures, and the discoveries made along the way. That stream although not loaded in gold had some gorgeous scenery and waterfalls. These are things you would have never seen lounging on your couch snacking and getting fat.

Hi Levi ,it’s not just the gold it’s the scrub the creek and the waterfalls ,I’m an incomplete paraplegic who just loved going bush , I live in the bush up behind Byron bay far enough to keep away from it ,when I go bush now it isn’t far from the road or track , I have fond memories of the remote places that I’ve been,I’m a bit of a nutter who always goes bush barefoot,the only time I have been bit by a snake was at my front door anyway bloke when you grow old nobody can take those fond memories of your adventures,keep going as long as you can it’s worth more than gold-in the long run also the chance of finding that big one will keep you going 😊😊 ,catch yah on the next one Champion

Beautifl waterfalls. Most of what I know about Tasmania is your video and commentaries. I always enjoy them.
I download ever video you put out so I can watch it on the plane or anytime in the best video quality and like them as I download them before I even watch. Obviously because It's the least I can do for the content you make for us all. I don't often comment, but I had to on this one. That waterfall with the shelf is so beautiful. We don't have as many goegous creeks and rivers in Western Australia. I had no desire to visit Tasmania before watching your videos, as I'm a little bitch when it comes to the cold.
However since watching your videos for what seems like years now, Tasmania bush is second on my list.
I love the bush, doing bush walks, hearing the wind in the trees, the birds and the insects. It is healing.

Gold Logie quality waterfalls creek walk, Levi. The panoramic waterfall, with the deep undercuts, you can imagine the force of the water dislodging those in dispersing the gold, shed from where you'd found those workings, it would have worn the gold to the flakes and finer bits you'd found, maybe 1.8 grams. Perhaps no nuggets of size there, but beautiful to have seen it's traversal. That you're finding unmarked workings, and unrecorded natural features like outstanding waterfalls, it means there's much further traversals ahead, and rewards of beauty, rich and rare. You, Levi, advance Tasmania, fair!

That's a extra beautiful spot! I'm in the pacific northwest. Washington and there's lots of similarities in the terrains and rainforest in certain area's. What I notice most is there's game trails from deer, elk and many other fauna also nibbling the flora along the way. It's so pristine that year's of dead folage lay perfectly intact as gravity layed them. Spectacular! And Levi...freedom is priceless and as long as you are well and strong and providing for your tribe with a happy spouse live it!!! As you see fit.

.5g or less. Prospecting is definitely a hobby/occupation that takes you to some amazing places. That creek you showed then was a pristine example of the beauty of some of the places it can take you. I’ve seen some fantastic places myself up here in Far North Queensland and am hoping to get to WA early next year.
Always enjoy your videos Levi. You have so much to explore where you live. When I lived in N California I always went back to the spots where I did find gold. Now that the price has jumped to $2,500 oz I’m sure many others will be out searching. Thanks Again
