Thanks so much to each and every one of you for tuning in throughout this year and sharing my best year yet on RUclips! Looking forward to sharing heaps more adventures in the future. Happy holidays and see you all soon. Rob ❤
Rob I love your videos bud. I live in the state of Alabama here in the US and I watch every video you and Levi post . I grew up on the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. I was always playing and exploring in the woods. I'm getting older in my days now and I have 2 kids. I try to get out with them as much as I can. I have a honda xr600r and the have a 4wheeler. We also go walk and explore alot. My property borders the talladega national forest. Everyone of yalls videos gives me the want to keep going. I pray your trips are always good and you are always home safe afterwards. But keep on keeping on bro. Good luck
You're becoming a VIP Tasmanian Historian and I seriously hope the Tasmanian Agencies that gave you grief take notice of your endeavors and following. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to ya'all.
What a magnificent video Rob. Brilliantly researched and comprehensively presented in an excellent production. Your preparedness to share the history of your “backyard” is welcomed and appreciated by many. I wish you and your family a wonderfully joyous first Christmas at Robinsbrook Homestead and look forward to being invited along on your adventures next year.
Curiosity is often defined as the desire to seek out and remain open to new experiences, and it is closely linked to the innate desire to acquire knowledge. Thank you, Rob Parsons, for another wonderful adventure, exploration, expedition, and escapade as we walk in the footsteps of the past. Bravo!
I can't help but keep thinking how wonderful it's going to be when Scout is old enough to come out on these exploration adventures with you! 😃 What a great vid, the effort taken in gathering the history and then getting out and retracing the original steps of the pioneers, at the same time handling all the camera work and drone shots by yourself is nothing short of amazing. I love these exploration videos so much, thank you for bringing us along on another wonderful and beautiful history lesson. The music in this was great too.
Oh wow, what a wonderful video! 😍 Happy that RUclips recommended me your channel. Super fascinating! Thanks for sharing your adventure and the history. Much love from Germany, and a Happy New Year! ❤
Absolutly love these historical adventures Rob. I reckon the amount of exploring you have done to search up the history of the area is almost as hard work as getting out there in the wild!
Epic Professor absolutely epic. A superior standard authentic realistic presentation chock full of Australian history is fitting for any PhD. and should be included in all classrooms & curricula. Beautiful work Rob Parsons Thankyou ❤
Another excellent film, Rob, and a credit to your devotion and perseverance that helps to unlock these hidden Tasmanian gems. It was a pleasure watching your film, and thank you again for taking us with you. All the best to you and your family for the Christmas season.
Thank you for keeping me entertained this year young fulla, I miss Tasmania but thanks to you and your family I have a way to escape back to, all the best you mob, look forward to seeing more in the future
Gotta say, respect to ya Rob, doing a lot of ya missions on your own is another level. Keep up ya enthusiasm, the old timers be proud of ya young fella. From that big ass island above ya .
Thanks Rob for another great episode been watching your videos for a couple of months now love your enthusiasm in showing me so much of Tasmania history
One of the best films you’ve created bro we’ve spent a lot of time over the years exploring that area and there’s always more to discover thanks for putting in the effort to tell this tale mate cheers
Fantastic adventure, I used to be up for this. Even now, I take the dog up small mountains in the winter! Just to see, and find old things. I love it, but stick to beaches now (fear of snakes) for the dog 💙 thanks for taking us along. 👍🎄
Geez these history explored videos are really getting good Rob. Fantastic research, the combination of your field commentary and studio narration keeps the story moving, and well written too. Plus the aspect of using evidence to explore, and your deductions provide a real mystery element. Very entertaining!
Rob - another awesome and meticulously researched and executed expedition. Really great video - worthy of any TV channel not just RUclips. Please keep them coming.
This kind of stuff deserves much more credit and views. The are so many people doing videos and all they do is walk to a clearing and camp, that's it and they get 10's of thousands more views it's ridiculous. Some do this and only get 100's of views. This type of thing is what this medium is about, thanks Rob.
Thank you so much Rob . I can't get enough of your exploring these old Gold sites.. I grew up in the California gold fields in the 1940;s so I really have an interest in what you are doing. Thanks again. Bill
It's easy to fall in love with Tasmania through your eyes Rob. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family and I look forward to your adventures next year, all the best Jo
Lived on the NW coast all my youth , spent endless hours fishing hiking and exploring from the dial ranges all the way to savage and beyond, love hearing the history puts a whole new spin on some of my memories , thank you for all your content and time love love love it 😊
And respect for those putting boots on the ground and sticks in their eyes keeping the history alive for us to view. You are a treasure, worthy of respect. You have inspired me to fat Ebike some historical rail trails over the festive period and pondering if I record the adventure on film?? A merry west aussie xmas to ya brother, I look forward to what you bring for our education and entertainment next year.
Rob and family, may you have a joyful and safe Christmas. Thank you Rob for all your hard work over the last 12 months Keeping us mesmerized with Tassy.
That was a great look at the early prospectors and explorers and the hardship they would have gone through just to get to these places .I've been to a few of the places not far from my home in the Yarra Valley to follow the trails of the old prospectors trying to get to Woods Point and some of the other gold fields in the mountains up that way it must been hard with Summer temps in the 30s and in the Winter it snows .
I discovered your videos and have watched them every day for over a week now. I love the music and beautiful scenery. I hope to keep on and that you are able to continue as long as you are able.
If you could I would love to see a video where you uncover all of the history from highfeild house or go and explore through cradle mountain in remote areas. Or just some more cool history rich remote areas of Tasmania. I’m from Tassie and I still love seeing the history behind all of it. ❤
Thank you very much for another wonderful history lesson. Bring to life the story behind the names of those who played such an important part in our early history. I enjoy your approach to adventure. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Well young Rob we thankyou for another adventure into the history and amazing country side of this place we call home, loved every minute of it,so merry Christmas to you and yours, best wishes for the new year and new adventures🎉❤cheers the old lenahvalley boys ✌️
On point and the goldfields channel just recently did a documentary on this very same subject in history and this just added even more beauty to our long and forgotten past
My parents were supposed to migrate to Tazmania before I was born. My mother changed her mind at the last minute. Every time I watch one of your videos, I feel a longing for home, like I belong there 😢😢
A beautiful exploration and showing the items from the archives ties together an excellent series of stories, Rob, that seem they'd have been largely lost to the knowledge of but a very few number of people, except for your exceptional storytelling adventures. It's amazing to think and even more amazing to see by your showing us the big, rounded boulders and stones so high up the mountain, and the point where the gulch digging occurred must have been a catch point or natural sluice where a lot of gold could be accessed by their clever working methods. Wishing you and the family a cool Yule and best wishes for 2025, and enormous thanks for your talented efforts in bringing your joy and sharing the enthusiasm for the history, environments, people and the gold itself, for us to learn from and revel in the fossicking and prospecting. Huzzah!
Thanks so much to each and every one of you for tuning in throughout this year and sharing my best year yet on RUclips! Looking forward to sharing heaps more adventures in the future. Happy holidays and see you all soon. Rob ❤

Absolutly love these historical adventures Rob. I reckon the amount of exploring you have done to search up the history of the area is almost as hard work as getting out there in the wild!
Its true, way more effort goes into planning than the execution. Drives Erin mad sometimes, but thats what makes a great adventure in my opinion.
Epic Professor absolutely epic. A superior standard authentic realistic presentation chock full of Australian history is fitting for any PhD. and should be included in all classrooms & curricula.
Beautiful work Rob Parsons
