After going dredging for the first time last week, I have a whole new level of appreciation the hard work you do, Levi. That time in the water, cold water, and moving all those cobbles by hand can really wear you out. Not to mention the long treks through dense forest and steep terrain carrying your camp and firewood, too (just unbelievable).
@@jasonyork4418what area are you in? Look for bedrock that is breaking up in the creek. Places where it’s coming apart is the perfect place to trap gold.
That first nugget you were examining and saying it looked like a dinosaur or sheep. I glanced at the screen and it looked exactly like a person's hand reaching down to pick something up. It even has what looks like a bracelet on the wrist.
Scandinavian style with campfires is alot of stones around the fire..for keeping the heat even if the fire burns down the stones are hot a long time happy to been born in a Scandinavian country where u have a total freedom to camp and roam around,,even on private land as long u show utter and most resect for the land and nature and leave the place better than u found it..
Loved every second of this! I’d say that one piece looked like s boxing glove or maybe s crab claw. I think we around the world should fire all politicians and just start fresh. Can’t start a fire without bringing in your own wood to s forest! Fire the lot of em! Ugh. Love all your videos Levi, thank you for letting us come with you!
I am Cliff Manis, and have been watching many of your videos for a while. I am 85 years old. all good, be safe , and living in .san .antonio, Texas. be safe. be well k
G'day Levi! Awesome Trek into the WILD TASSIE!!! Priceless Paystreak that your on again. Bowling Pin for sure... the seal looks like a old school bottle opener, but flipped over looks like a boxing glove. Congrats to the winners of the GAW, that is some Sweet Shiny. What's the world coming to when you can't even use the old, dead, dried up wood to start a fire in the Wild!!! Just RIDICULOUS.... No I'll call it like it is BULLSHIT!!!! AWESOME ADVENTURE LEVI, Keep at it... Your right about the source, keep scratching!!!!
Congrats on 200,000 subscribers. Shows you are doing something most of us cannot do. The ability to warm yourself and your food is a basic human right.
You don’t need a dredge, you looked like you were clearing material pretty darn fast with that shovel! Love your channel, always look forward to new posts.
Top Job Levi. Your courage and discipline paid off again on this trip. Mate, you earn every bit of gold and good fortune that comes your way. Love the information on the gear you use, clothes, boots etc. Cheers from Michael. Australia.
At the 8min mark, that looks like a good quartz vein in a lighter colour rock on the top side, then looks like a shale or darker rock on the bottom crevice side, that contact fault between 2 rock types can be favourable for gold in the quartz
Hey, Rob. Since you have to carry your wood in. Check out the design for a rocket stove. They use a small amount of wood and can radiate a lot of heat. I've seen them made out of food tins. As small as baked bean or as big as commercial size for pineapple.
You are surrounded by fallen trees but the government say your fire has to be made of wood from Bunnings. What kind of joke world do we live in nowadays.
jeff williams does a great job explaining information and allows you to learn. your videos just lit a fire under my ass to get out there and find more shiny!! ur a savage bro going solo to some of these places. fortune favors the brave for sure!!!
I think because I do this myself here in central NSW your videos make me feel so relaxed because thats how I feel when I’m out in the creek. I hang out for every video you make new or old so thanks a heap Levi. 👍🏽
Levi, check out boots made for waders. I have a pair of Cabela’s that are like steel toe work boots that lets the water out through vents. They have lasted a decade. They come with a rubber sole or felt. I highly recommend them for your feet! Awesome gold!
I get gold fever more and more each time I watch your videos 😆. And I already have the fever 🤣. Absolutely amazing Levi. There is no place I would rather be than under the water sniping.
Levi, the dedication you have in sniping is absolutely commendable! All the hard work you put in makes me tired for you and makes me want to take a nap just watching all the hard work you do in sniping for gold! Your videos are the best! Keep on sniping, and I'll catch you on the next. ✌️ 😊
Another excellent video Levi as always. I find it totally ridiculous that you have to carry in firewood as obviously there isn't effort lying around waiting for a bushfire. That department needs a 👢 up their arses for not letting you use the dead wood
i always enjoy your videos. thank you for sharing them. I find the music takes me out of the experience of you looking for the gold tho, the ASMR nature of you scratching around with the sound of the water is actually one of the reasons i watch the videos. thanks again, your videos are appreciated.
Love how you show all the hard work it takes just to get down to the bedrock . Looks like a huge mud crab 🦀 claw… or crescent wrench… yes a bowling 🎳 pin.
I am SO glad to hear you finally say that. I've been meaning you tell you that all along, you have been Looking Right AT the source of your gold. It's leaching right out of the Quartz veins you've been raking around in.
Great job again, Levi. You amaze me how you get into that cold wetsuit every morning I'm tassie at the moment from rocky QLD . I'm gonna give one of those creeks ago but it'll be a warm wetsuit. Great job mate. Keep it up.
Hello Levi, nice bedock and gold.Try cleaning it in molten sodium hydroxide for a few hours, using a good grade stainless steel vessel on an electric hotplate.Let cool down, dissolve in water using medium heat , rinse with clean water and enjoy looks of bright clean gold, regards George
Hiya Levi, awesome video mate your videos are getting better all the time. The music is great and the gold is fabulous mate, I wish I could send you some of the summer heat we're having to warm you up. I hope you have a awesome blessed day mate. Cheers! Cya! 😺🐟 out!
Superb upload as usual. Thanks Levi. You've inspired me to start investing in gold. I've purchased 20 ounces since subscribing to your channel & it's doubled in value.
Love the videos. Respect so much the work. Just getting in and out is a major achievement. Thanks for bringing us along. Being from Tassie it is nostalgic for me.
A fine adventure, Levi, and a very nice total, the nuggets are beauties. I find it very troubling that there seems no end to which natural and civic rights that people have held precious throughout the centuries, are ripe for being ripped away, thoughtlessly for the consequences. In some places, you're still entitled to herd your sheep over bridges on those market days still active on the books, you'll be aware of the old song, Scarborough Fair, parsely, sage, rosemary, and thyme - all go nicely with lamb, not coincidentally!, still a monthly market day. These would still be promulgated for many places in Tasmania, other Australian states and the territories, and throughout the other Commonwealth countries. I can't believe you're required to take in your own firewood, you'd have in Tasmania I'd imagine the same small roadside firewood collecting fee as we have in Victoria, from fallen logs and fuel reduction efforts, collection points for people in the country who don't have enough felled timber on their land for their own fireplace, or friends or neighbours to call on. There isn't a Bunnings or Mitre 10 every ten kilometres, is there? Trailer loads for $50?! Bull**it! At parks, aren't the PWS leaving cut logs at designated campsites, and aren't you allowed to take those for your own use, beyond that campground they're left at? Or are they shutting the gates, turning off the taps, making you freeze in century-old shelters and huts with fireplaces you're not allowed to use, despite the cut logs and sign enticing you into legal entrapment by the park director, and letting tracks and bridges fall into ruin and close as too dangerous, then charging exorbitant fees, after fixing for glamour, accommodation what used to be free, and given as natural rights, birthright, citizenship or loyal subjects, with access to parks, gardens and reserves, town commons to graze your sheep, roadside reserves and watering holes for droving your cattle, free truck rest stops... Are all your parties just letting this gloomy future take shape? Are the region's populations not able to take back the initiative on this? Towns letting themselves be blocked off by miners and foresters, drive another hour to get around for a few trucks a day, and the roads left unrepaired, after? Have these companies no mutual obligations? Here in Victoria, it's rather quiet, despite it being the 170th anniversary of the Eureka Stockade, the one major event that forged our basic democratic rights. Too quiet, said Roobarb to Custard...

Incredible, if only there were gold sniping spots like this in Adelaide!

I use a sealed plastic bottle with enough acid to cover the gold and float that container in the cleaner and it works great.
Thank you, keep working.
One of those pieces could b a gold Logie. Great video. Well done.

You are on a good patch again. That is a rich looking reef. Great to see...!
Maybe you need some chain mail boot covers, if they exist, lol. Love all your videos.

Yeah, it might be a bit heavy but you can hide it around there instead of hiking all the time!
For pineapple or like a pineapple size?
You are surrounded by fallen trees but the government say your fire has to be made of wood from Bunnings. What kind of joke world do we live in nowadays.
Ain’t that the truth!!
Yup. It’s sad.
Yeah but those fallen trees are a whole ecosystem that help to support the whole forest. They decompose and give us fungi friends too.
Trust the science 🙄
A rule to reduce deforesting of popular sites.

Hi from Queensland. Really enjoy watching your videos. 💯 times better than anything on tv. Wish you the very best in your endeavours.
Some nice pickers there for sure, Mate...
Maybe a sluice for al the gravel as you move down it could help show you what's reality down there as you snip
i used to work at a hard rock gold mine......at 23:13 you can see visible gold incased in the quartz vein!!! ....should sample it for sure!!!

Hey Levi. Love your videos. Wish I had the opportunity to have a crack at snipping. Every part of the adventure floats my boat. All the best
