    I'm curious how it is that you go that way from the mixer? Wouldn't it be better if you go from the mixer (L/R) directly into the sub and then distribute from the sub out to the speakers? I mean, why pull two extra wires up/down from floor level when the sub is already on the floor, or doesn't it give the same effect?!?

      Hi, thanks for your comment, friend.
      What I did in this video is actually what is recommended by JBL in the EON 700 Series manual.
      You can connect from the mixer to the subwoofer and out to the top speakers if you want. ☺

    How do I connect additional monitor speakers and microphones?

    • @jblsoundbiz
      @jblsoundbiz  10 месяцев назад +2

      Hello, thanks for your comment.
      If you want to install monitor speakers, let's say you are using JBL EON712 as a monitor, you can connect a TRS cable from the Yamaha MG10XU Female Stereo Out TRS mixer to the JBL EON712 speaker monitor.
      You can control the volume of the JBL EON712 using the JBL Pro Connect app.
      For the microphone, you can plug it into any channel 1 through 4 on the Yamaha MG10XU mixer, and you can control the volume on the mixer.
      I hope this answers your question. Don't forget to support my RUclips channel by clicking the SUBSCRIBE and LIKE buttons on this video. Thanks and I appreciate it. 🤗

      Hi, thank you for your comment.
      The EON718S cannot play sound without a wired input. You should use the cable from the Pass-Thru EON715 and connect it to the input of the EON718S. I hope I was able to answer your question. Have a great day, friend! 🤗

    If I got a prx918xfl what should I set the parametric EQ to ? Custom, flat, 80hz, 100hz, 120hz or cardioid ?

    • @jblsoundbiz
      @jblsoundbiz  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi, thanks for your comment.
      It depends on what you want to pair with the top speakers (HPF-SPKR and LPF-Mix Out). For example, if you set the top speaker with HPF to 80hz and LPF to 120hz, then the subwoofer's Parametric EQ can be set between 120hz to 80hz.
      If you want to use Cardioid EQ, you must have two subwoofers and place them next to each other. Subwoofer 1 (facing the audience) is set to 100hz and subwoofer 2 (rear facing) is set to Cardioid EQ.
      You can watch this video on how to set up a Cardioid mode subwoofer. ruclips.net/video/h26IfFfUQMY/видео.html

      Hi,
      Thanks for your comment,
      I have never measured sound volume up to 110db with an SPL meter. However, I am sure that the limit light will not come out even if the sound has reached 110db. Maybe in the next video, I will measure up to 110db for a PA system setup like this.

    How to set up 4 PA 15, 4 Subwoofer ? 🙏🏻

    • @jblsoundbiz
      @jblsoundbiz  5 месяцев назад +2

      Hi, thank you for your comment.
      This is a good question.
      You can try to install a PA system by using the four methods below.
      Method 1.
      Using four EON718S subwoofers in cardioid position and placed in the center facing the audience while the EON715 position is placed left and right (2 left & 2 right).
      Method 2.
      Using two EON718S subwoofers in a cardioid position placed on the left and right together with the EON715 (2 tops + 2 subs on the left and 2 tops + 2 subs on the right).
      Method 3.
      Using the two EON718S subwoofers not in cardioid position placed on the left and right together with the EON715 (2 tops + 2 subs on the left and 2 tops + 2 subs on the right).
      Method 4
      Uses two subwoofers in cardioid position and placed in the center facing the audience while 1 subwoofer is placed on the left and 1 subwoofer is placed on the right together with the EON715.
      However, the method of installation of this PA system depends on the location and atmosphere of the event at your venue. You can choose any of the above methods and I will explain how to connect the cables from the mixer to all the speakers. I got a question. When I’m playing music sometimes and I turn the volume up I start hearing a little bit of popping in my speakers do you know what that can possibly mean? It really only happens when certain songs got some good bass to it. It don’t matter how low the volume or how high. The limit light don’t even come on

    • @jblsoundbiz
      @jblsoundbiz  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hi,
      Thank you for your comment.
      This has happened to my JBL EON715 speakers. When the music starts playing, a POP sound is heard and then disappears as the music plays. However, not all the songs I play have a POP sound.
      I am not sure what is causing the POP sound. The only thing I could do at that point was make sure all the XLR connections from the mixer to the speakers were securely connected with no loose wires.
      I also updated the firmware to the latest version. So far I haven't heard the POP sound. I hope this answer helps you a bit. Have a good day my friend! 🤗

      A: You can try two JBL EON715 and two JBL EON718S as shown in this video.
      Q: Also if i buy the same as shown in video will it work with my stagePro SP1 mixer?
      A: Yes, of course.
      Q: Is passive speaker better or Active or it doesnt matter?
      A: Both these types of speakers are good but it depends on your budget and how easy it is for you to set up a PA System.
      Q: I know i asked lots of questions 😅, cause I cant find any answer to those questions
