Im a Techno DJ and planing to do some small events outdoor this summer. I was thinking about buying 2 x JBL Partyblx 1000. They have sick bass and clear sound. I would love to see/hear a comperison from using a JBL BT partybox speaker and a PA system like this. Have you ever thought about the idea ? Rigging up to JBL Partybox 310/710 or 1000 vs a PA system ?
Probably dreaming buddy, I was quoted March 2022 before they’ll arrive… maybe you got in early and will be lucky, but the 1st shipment to a lot of dealers is months away apparently…
@@robertw1871 the supplier confirmed first week of February but i need them right away. They offered me the 615 for the same price (they are still a little bit expensive than the 715) so i took the offer and got my set 2 days ago.
@@TheDeymanuel Same thing happen to me, couldn’t get the 600 subs though so went with the EV 200 and the 615s… Not sure why they are spending so much money marketing the 700 series when nobody can actually get them…
@@robertw1871 i actually consulted a sound engineer about the 600 and 700 series and we looked at the data sheet and he said he’d still go for the 600 which has a wider frequency response. JBL is also marketing the 2414 driver for the 700, but someone opened a 615 and it already has a 2414 driver on it. I actually dont care about the other “new features” they mentioned on the launch coz im sure some of them already exist… except for the bluetooth streaming, which is useless to me.
I been searching everywhere high and low trying to see what the big difference is between EON615 and EON715. The 615 is few dollars more. the 700 series seem to focus on DBX noise reduction and ease of use blue tooth. Looking at specs 700 series is 1300w 600 series is 1000w. I have a small classic rock cover band. I want to buy a pair. Looks like the 715 is the direction only because it's newer and louder. Can't find out much more on the comparisons
Ya but if you want the bluetooth streaming to work right make sure your device can send 2x bluetooth signals.....otherwise you can only stream to one at a time...
On the back of the EON 715 power input says 500watts, around half of that is waste heat, so realistically they are maybe 250watt RMS, deception exists even with JBL.
Here’s a question a lot of ppl need to know how to connect/play two 715 eons when connected to Bluetooth my iPhone says they’re both connected but only one plays last week they where both playing at the same time but now it’s not
Just pre-ordered a 712 from Guitar Center!!! I'm hoping it get it sooner than later!!! What is the actual delivery dates to retail stores?? I really need one for a gig on 12/4... you think you can do something for me??😁
I was told sometime in March 2022… Went with the 615s and EV 200 subs, because the EON 600 subs aren’t available either, pretty happy with the setup so far…
@@junyah1976 Yes I did, but that wasn't the issue at all, defected speakers were sent to me where I ordered the speakers from B&H Photo. I had to take them for repair, after the repair, they sound good.
@@junyah1976 Won't you bash if you spent $1100 but speakers are defected or not up to par? If you don't speak up, nothing gets done in this twisted world anymore my friend. After addressing the issue to B&H Photo, they flat-out told me that they are not able to take the speakers back or replace them. I was open to either replacing them with QSC's and pay the difference or for B&H Photo to issue a refund, but they refuse to work out any type of deal.

I'm very impressed with JBL products, that's why I like making miniature versions of JBL sounds, because I really admire the JBL brand.
Just picked up a 715 today for a small event, but I think I'll be getting another 715 and the 718s. Can't wait tontry it out.

@@mohammadwasilliterate8037 The recent Firmware update took care of the mono output via Bluetooth to stereo output, worked like a charm for me.
Pretty nifty, it’s unfortunately unobtainiumn at this point… would be nice to see promos for stuff that’s actually available…

Sweetwater spec section calls this a bi-amped speaker (as of this date) but I don't see anything from JBL that would support that- any insights?
