    Great camera work Dan! Way more patience then I could have shown. I would have zoomed that bad boy out and let whatever happened happen. Congrats.

    That had to be the dumbest buck in the county,lol. He knew something was in the tree yet had to hang around. Congratulations on a nice buck. What broadhead was that? Must have hit a rib dead center? 👍👍🔥

    • @danrichardson210
      @danrichardson210 24 дня назад +1

      He wanted to go in a certain direction and when the Rut is on they get crazy in the head. Used a NAP triple X , no rib’s it came out in his arm pit and hit off side leg, as soon as he ran his leg kicked it back out. Got both lungs and shaved the heart !

    • @timbow50
      @timbow50 24 дня назад +1

      @ awesome! Was wondering why not a pass thru hit

    • @danrichardson210
      @danrichardson210 24 дня назад +2

      @ it smacked his off side leg as it came out of arm pit. Kicked out as soon as he ran. It really dosent matter if it dosent exit out other side. When you get both lungs and shave the heart it’s a don’t deal. 👍

    I don't get it. I watch all these videos of guys shooting bucks from under 20 yards and barely gettin gany penetration. I have shot 4 whitetail, 3 from elevated stands, and have had clean pass-through on every one of them. I have shot 4 mule deer bucks and had pass through on all of them. I have shot 9 elk and 6 were pass through, the other 3 stopped on the off-side shoulder or hung up on the fletching on exit. A majority of those shots are beyond 35 yards, with some exceeding 50yards.

      Join the team and show your pass-throughs . I’m sure you would bring a lot more excitement than all the videos you keep watching

      Ok so this hunt my Bow was at 50# after shoulder surgery, was still recovering . My arrow was 522 gr. If you noticed there was a hole in his arm pit where the arrow tried to pass through . It his his off side leg as it was exiting, when he ran his off side leg likely shot it back out the entry side. I got both lungs and shaved the heart. So honestly was a complete pass through reall necessary here ? No ! I have been Bowhunting now for 47 years , I have had TONS of complete pass through shots, but have also had a lot of off side shoulder hits. People get hung up on complete pass through, it’s all about hitting vitals! Congrats on all your kills !

      @@danrichardson210 Appreciate the reply Dan. I honestly wasn't commenting that you didn't get a pass-through. How dead does an animal have to be to be dead...

    I’ll never understand how all you guys filmin all this stuff with with a whole CUBICLE of crap and ropes n straps n gadgets with lights flashin, moving around in the tree like a monkey, drawing bows back 4 times to get the camera angle, shoot ANY deer, let alone big bucks. You definitely won’t get away with all that in NY!!

    • @chadgillaspie7203
      @chadgillaspie7203 24 дня назад +4

      You'd be surprised what you can get away with if you're cautious of when to move and try to set up where you have back cover and you aren't silhouetted... And for the record Dan isn't a day past 45 lol....
