    Thank you so much the comprehensive walkthrough. I love how the grainy sound in the Open Ear Test was not nearly as present in both the Engage and Experience models.

    I have a question, as an audiologist do these actually provide hearing protection? I've been using Hocks Noise Breakers for years and they work on the same filter principle but are not comfortable. I have tinnitus and I'm always concerned that although filtered ear plugs claim to protect your hearing through use of "The Accelerated Resonant Decay Principle" (basically converting noise to heat). Can they actually protect your ears when they still have a small open channel in the form of the filter? Great video by the way, lots of good information, looking forward to your response.

    This video was really helpful, thank you! I think I'll go with Quiet 2 or the Switch. I want to use it mostly for in the office (lots of talking and sometimes I need to focus, but I also want to stay present in case someone wants to talk to me) but also at home, because I have noisy neighbours. The only problem is that most of their noise comes from the bass sounds from the music they play loud, and I doubt earplugs will prevent me from hearing it. When I listened to the sound test, with all earplug the bass of the music was still very audible. If you happen to have any advice for this specific issue, I'm all ears (pun intended). Again, I appreciate the time you took making this video, it was really helpful.

      im highsensituve for noise. i work in a workshop and take care of mentally disabled ppl. they are often very loud (15 ppl in a workshop with stone walls, so lots of echoing) and all those noises drain my energy completly after 2/3 hours.... with those, i still hear it when someone wants somthing, or they verbally fight eachother or whatever. but i can concentrate way better (i also have a strong adhd)
      i use the engage, and sometimes the experience ones when its realy loud) i didnt testet the quiet yet. but the others i have over 1 year now

    Does the switch really work as well as all the separate plugs?

    Just want to make sure this is earplugs can use like regular one, I mean for listening music right?

      I'm not sure I completely understand the question but these earplugs can be used for a variety of needs including live music (not music streaming), sleeping etc. If you are asking if these devices stream music - they do not.

      The earplugs don't connect to anything they are plugs not earbuds or earphones

    What kind of earplugs would you recommend if you want to minimize the damage caused by the volume of your band's practice but at the same time be able to hear the sounds of other instruments?

    Is this a small size earphone or a product that eliminates the environmental nosies.
    confusing

      earplug

    • @cimbaerly
      @cimbaerly 17 дней назад +1

      It filters/tones down sounds or certain noises. So it’s not an earphone, it is an earplug with a noise filter and a mesh.
