Never deserved it, he's just a coward selfish trash with no morals who tried murdering his own friend (Sarutobi) just to be hokage. He is actually one of if not THE MOST EVIL characters in the entire series.
I feel like this was a test, Tobirama intended all along to be the decoy, he just wanted to see who had the courage to lay down their life for the team, which is a prerequisite to being the hokage. Hiruzen was the only one that stepped up, and he even proved it in the end vs. Orochimaru

Yet after this mission while they were tired, he had to solo 20 shinobi long enough for everyone else to escape far enough not to be followed. The team I suggested for the new mission is simply because Jiraiya would have been the logical next person to be appointed Hokage, Kakashi and the rest are as far as we know the next best Jonin in the leaf while Koharu and the other elder were apparently just smart enough to be with people who can defeat them. So maybe Ino and Sai could be them.

They should do another series showing all the stuff that was told but never seen. Like tobiramas death vs the ginkaku force after this would be so fire. I always thought if they made a live action movie this is where it should start. The third becoming kage. Ik it'd leave a lot to be told but I jus think it'd give us a chance to actually recognize the first 2 kage especially the second. Ikr. The 2nd and 3rd generation were particularly interesting. Some cool blanks to fill in are: #1. Seeing Hiruzen in his prime of course. The Shadow Clone Shuriken Jutsu seems brilliant for taking on many opponents. Adding his Enma Staff and 5 Element Combo really makes it a bloodbath. #2. Are all of the Raikage up to A4 related? They look alike, but the name was supposedly made to match up with their groomed combo partner aptly named B. Darui breaks the tradition so it leads one to believe the former. #3. Who created the 7 Ninja Swords of the Mist? They’ve been around since the 1st Mizukage’s era. He was very old during the First 5 Kage Summit and excelled in worldly wisdom, so I’d like to think he used that to create them. #4. The 3rd Mizukage needs a legacy badly. He acted as the 1st’s bodyguard at the Summit, so putting him in charge of the 7 Ninja Swordsmen selection process seems sensible. He supervises everyone’s kenjutsu skill and recruits the best (sharp teeth and bandages are an automatic yes 💀). He’s proud of doing so and skips becoming the 2nd Mizukage. After Gengetsu gets himself killed he takes the position. #5. Mū and Gengetsu’s bitter rivalry which lead to their death battle. A Particle Style vs Steam Imp collision causing an explosion which kills both of them seems sensible. #6. Who assassinated the 1st and 2nd Kazekage? The Summit showed that Lord 1st was pretty bold, so him having enemies as a result makes sense. The assassination of Lord 2nd might’ve been an inside job like what happened to his successor. We need some proper motives. #7. The White Fang of the Leaf’s prowess. He’s gotta be the run on sight type like Minato. His legacy defining mission would’ve been nice to see. #8. Chiyo vs Hanzo! Them fighting several times is wild. Either stalemate or having to retreat must be how. Chiyo being able to neutralize his poison and fight from a distance gives her somewhat of an implied advantage IMO. #9. Minato’s training with Jiraiya. He masters everything with ease and even teaches his sensei a technique he made own, which is the Rasengan. #10. How did Yagura lead Kirigakure before being controlled by Tobi? How does Tobi’s Genjutsu last for so long? On a Perfect Jinchuriki of all people. #11. How’d Hiruzen have enough time to train the Sanin as Hokage? Prioritizing Tsunade out of respect for his predecessors and it being a time of peace between wars are sensible circumstances.

Someone help me get in contact with the team who makes Naruto. ! I wrote 3 whole seasons for a prequel anime Naruto show that's about hiruzen and the village from this point on. Spoiler alert ! There's a Large Churning exam. We will also get a deeper look into the white fang, orochimaru's younger life and his parents & clan. More detail on who Minato's father is . A deeper look into fugaku and much more . Old style type of anime to not this new soft core anime that's out these days. Don't get me wrong I enjoy baruto alot but it lacks the emotional aspect and the real grittiness of the old animes

Tobirama was Hokage for a good while. When we take into consideration everything he did for the village, creation of the ninja academy, anbu black ops, etc. It probs took more than a few years to get those up and running. So he was Hokage for way longer than Minato that’s for sure lol. I’d say a good 10 years at least.
He’s no where near weak, in his prime he was stated to be stronger then tobirama and hashriama well already passing tobirama at the age of 13, he was called the god of shinobi and and knows every jutsu of konoha even the forbidden ones (not clan genkei kenkai like sharingan) in his prime he can take on the whole akatuski yes even madara.

I don't fully understand your question. Do you mean besides the 2nd Hokage, does everyone there have the raw combat skill to become Hokage? If so, no. Hiruzen Sarutobi was the best Shinobi of "his generation", but having said that, the 2nd picked Hiruzen to become the 3rd Hokage because he understood what the Will of Fire was the most out of all of his teammates. Also it helps he was trained by the 2nd and a little bit of the 1st Hokages. Hiruzen made his fair share of mistakes as Hokage but Tobirama picked the best person for the job. He protected and nurtured the future generations of the leaf.
No way Tobirama died with all the jutsu he had. He didn’t even look tired. Reanimation jutsu, teleportation jutsu, shadow clones, the ability to just flood the whole forest. He probably just thought man fuk the leaf and the uchiha
I feel that, but give the Kinkaku Force some credit. 20 Kakashi’s plus the Gold and Silver Brothers. Here are his disadvantages: 1. The Fan can counter his Water Style with regular or even Kyuubi enhanced Lightning Style. 2. Tobirama nearly died against the brothers before and now they have 18 more shinobi on their side. Caution is key. 3. The goal is to stall them anyways so he’d draw out the fight. 4. The Reanimation Jutsu isn’t viable since there aren’t any sacrifices. He probably forbade it by this point. 5. His use of Flying Raijin isn’t as refined as Minato’s. He’s only shown doing it with a single kunai rather than dozens at once.
The 2nd hokage is goated but you should consider the enemies he took on alone. He didn't face mere c rank ninjas, he faced 20 a to s rank ninjas and from what I know took down 18 of them. It's like facing 20 kakashis.

Tobirama was Hokage for a good while. When we take into consideration everything he did for the village, creation of the ninja academy, anbu black ops, etc. It probs took more than a few years to get those up and running. So he was Hokage for way longer than Minato that’s for sure lol. I’d say a good 10 years at least.

Tobirama stays getting clowned for the story’s sake. A Shadow Clone might be too weak to deal with them. The Flying Raijin surely could’ve worked under these circumstances, but the plot hadn’t revealed him being able to use it yet.

I don't fully understand your question. Do you mean besides the 2nd Hokage, does everyone there have the raw combat skill to become Hokage? If so, no. Hiruzen Sarutobi was the best Shinobi of "his generation", but having said that, the 2nd picked Hiruzen to become the 3rd Hokage because he understood what the Will of Fire was the most out of all of his teammates. Also it helps he was trained by the 2nd and a little bit of the 1st Hokages. Hiruzen made his fair share of mistakes as Hokage but Tobirama picked the best person for the job. He protected and nurtured the future generations of the leaf.
No way Tobirama died with all the jutsu he had. He didn’t even look tired. Reanimation jutsu, teleportation jutsu, shadow clones, the ability to just flood the whole forest. He probably just thought man fuk the leaf and the uchiha
I feel that, but give the Kinkaku Force some credit. 20 Kakashi’s plus the Gold and Silver Brothers. Here are his disadvantages:
1. The Fan can counter his Water Style with regular or even Kyuubi enhanced Lightning Style.
2. Tobirama nearly died against the brothers before and now they have 18 more shinobi on their side. Caution is key.
3. The goal is to stall them anyways so he’d draw out the fight.
4. The Reanimation Jutsu isn’t viable since there aren’t any sacrifices. He probably forbade it by this point.
5. His use of Flying Raijin isn’t as refined as Minato’s. He’s only shown doing it with a single kunai rather than dozens at once.
