First Main Event Race on New Track!

- This is the first ever club race final in the 100cc class at DKC's new North Track. The track is slick and everyone is struggling with grip. I start mid-pack and try to work my way up.
Track looks really new/green. The grip should come in after it gets some karts on it.
Looks fun!
It's been slippery for several weeks now. It's starting to look like it'll be a few months before it properly settles. In the meantime, I hope they add some runoff and rumble strips like they had before. The track is absolutely lethal in certain high speed corners. 😬
@@flyingphoenix113 yeah it’s been open for a month and still rly slick I have been going like 2 times a month and it has not changed won’t be grippy till early next year

Track looks good! The left right chicane looks like a fun section. Wondering if in time the last corner will be flat out before the flag . Great audio video as usual!
Man I am sure there are going to be lots of crashes in the future especially in the rentals at dkc lol I know some people that abuse the crap out of those especially at dkc
What mount do you use for your helmet for the go pro? wanting to mount my own but not sure if those sticky pad things would work as if i crash i dont want the go pro to fly off and i cant find it

Hey illegal alien I have a question that is to short to call dkc about I know that when you get a club membership at dkc you get access to buy from the karting shop next to the owner kart storage could you tell me what they sell in there just like a quick list I don’t need a manifest of everything lol
They sell mostly kart parts, fuel, tires. I think they also have some helmets and suits/gloves but not sure what they have. From what I know, anyone can buy from the kart shop.
@@IllegalAlienRacing oh thank you so much I have been trying to see what they sell but could not find it anywhere and needed to know if they sold tires but it looks like it’s only for members as it says on a door leading into the store/lounge area that only members or authorized members allowed might go on Thursday for the 20 dollar races so I will ask

Not too old at all. You'll be 55 in 3 years. You can either be 55 with no karting experience or be 55 with 3 years of karting experience and lots of great memories to date. Do it, it's never too late to start.
