Thanks for these very helpful videos, Derek. What I am missing in the '101' series would be something like *"KARTING BASICS 101: How to get your go-kart ready on race day'*. Basically a step-by-step of what to do after I get my kart off the trailer or out of the garage, before heading out on track: putting fuel in, checking the most important nuts and bolts, checking/correcting tire pressure, maybe oiling the chain (if applicable), etc. I'm sure that would help a lot of beginners and keep them safe.
The Kartech kart trolley appears to be very practical. Would you be able to include it in a review of accessories with some specs or more information, pro’s and con’s, and comparison to other trolleys? Thanks again and appreciate the content!
Id recommend the adjustable angle steering boss. And my kart also has the steering wheel about 10mm closer as i use the front handbrake, which both together means its closer and i can get more leaverage to steer.
x30 is a wicked kart engine. most karts are good enough to get started, Margay included. We use and recommend TONY KART but it is not essential for fun and getting started. hope that helps
Hey Anthony, thanks for tuning in. I love the Tony Kart. There is only one brand in Karting and that is Tony. Its like there is only one Ferrari. Heaps of other excellent super cars, but there is only one Ferrari. Same with Karts IMO. Heaps of good frames out there, all are capable of winning races, but still, the one brand we gravitate to is Tony Kart. The original. If you know Karting and kart history and that is your thing, then Tony Kart is the answer.
we have a karting maintainence video in our Racing Rituals on our website www.powerrepublic.com.au/collections/videos/products/go-kart-racing-rituals-episode-four-maintain-a-perfect-go-kart check it out and I will send you a code to watch it

Thanks for loading. A Pre ride inspection video would be nice, showing what to look for like cottor pins/safety wire ext.
We have one of those in our Racing Rituals video series
I can send you a code to check it out if that helps??

Hey Luke thanks for tuning in. yeah we love those trolleys, especially if you have to lift the kart by yourself.
Id recommend the adjustable angle steering boss. And my kart also has the steering wheel about 10mm closer as i use the front handbrake, which both together means its closer and i can get more leaverage to steer.
Hey Chris. Do you both angled boss and angled wedge?
@@PowerRepublic only the variable angle boss.
Thanks for your advices. 😊
My pleasure! 😇
Can I put a Lo206 on a Tony kart??
Awesome video! I have a question about the one-man kart stand. Have you tried lowering a kart with a full gas tank? Thank you!
Yeah it’s all good.

Hi just wondering if you have any tips on getting into the sport of karting?
Yeah man, got the works. Where you at?
Wow, they look so futuristic these days :O
yeah they are wicked, get on it!
Do you reckon i can buy or build a kart for max £2000 budget for the kart itself?
yeah you could get a second hand race package for under 2k I reckon
Wot about setting up for tall people my son has just bought a tony kart and struggles with leg room
for the cadets its a bit harder to find more room. unless you step up into a 101cm chassis?
Do you think the x30 is a good starter kart?
Have you heard about Margay karts? Are they good?
x30 is a wicked kart engine. most karts are good enough to get started, Margay included. We use and recommend TONY KART but it is not essential for fun and getting started. hope that helps
I recommend rotax evo it’s got a similar amount of power to the x30 and it can be more reliable
Sprocket and changing rear axle next Dezza?
Never know , axles in the library but a freshen up might be on the cards
With pitkar is that (at the beginning)?
Make a video on why you think tony kart is the best chassis out there???

You should be fine with any otk chassis though
Tony karts seem by far the best but I’m gonna be too broke for that for a while
yeah they are worth it though, wait to you drive your first brand new one, you will be blown away
Is this the same for junior rotax
Can you explain what to do if the kart stays flat and won’t rotate
Yeah it need more front I would suggest. Did you have brand new tyres on ?
Do you guys know how to turn off a hpv Kpv 100cc
Can't use that stand with a 206 motor.
bummer.
Try lifting a KZ like that. 😂🥺
Can I put a Lo206 on a Tony kart 401R
