ANNINA Hardy 20 Fisher Boat Launch Broughty Ferry slipway, Scotland, sea trial and a spot of fishing

This weekend there was no truck building. We had a great day out instead - we took our Hardy 20 Fisher Annina to Broughty Ferry slipway for some fishing (sadly not catching). This was her first time out from the winter hibernation. Plus we were testing the improvements on the steering and the wiring. However, the tell tale suddenly stopped playing ending the fun abruptly.

Quality time with the family, a very lucky child, it's giving her a host of great memories to carry throughout her whole life. It's the little things that have the biggest impact on life. Keep making them. Quality time with your children spent doing this sort of thing is what makes a child grow up well rounded and happy. It's great to see parents doing it right.

Pretty sure that's an 18 , the 20 has the toilet cubicle forward and the galley is in the pilot house. Still a lovely seaworthy boat my friend, good to see as there isn't many vids of these being launched. Probably something I'd want to keep in a marina .cheers.

Hi Bushcraft, the Hardy 20 Fisher never came with a heads compartment or a galley. The Hardy Pilot on the other hand (the 18 and 20) I think came with both. It was more cruiser orientated Thanks for the comments.She is a lovely thing and hoping to get some more vids out in the future 👍

Hi your boat looks great ..I’m looking at getting a hardy 20 fisher and just wondering how stable they are when two people stand on the same side also what sort of speed are you getting.

Hi, it is a pretty good stable platform for two. Two people fishing at the back quite comfortably with 2 people forward in the seats. Top speed 22 knots with the Honda engine. Cruise at 16-17 knots. Hope it helps 👍

@@thewanderfulfour thanks for the reply,I have seen one for sale with a mercury 100 4stroke that needs tidying up so hopefully should do the same sort of speeds with the right prop pitch ..thanks again 👍🏻

@@mickashdown5886 the boat is only rated to a 75 or twin 40s, you won't get an insurance for 100
