I almost cried when John Paul said he wanted God to exist. That was so honest and heartfelt. I bet a lot of people pray the same thing and I pray they find God through this and all the other testimonies in this platform. God bless you Eddie and everyone who shared their stories 🙏
I used to work with a surgeon from India that worked w/ Saint Mother Teresa in Calcutta that he converted to Catholicism from Hinduism. He was fascinated over the fact that Mother Teresa served the poorest of the poor for nearly 50 years WITHOUT salary. He remembered her as being kind but tough and very hard working. He eventually became a Catholic after studying the faith.
Thank you, hearing your story and Eddie making them available is so helpful. For me and other cradle Catholics who experience this hills and deep valleys sometimes not realizing we have the same struggles and lapses of faith, not living and practicing the gift we were given at birth. We live 😮as “luke warm “ Catholics but our interior life is empty, not putting God first. Living outwardly faithful but pulled to the secular world, making poor decisions according to our will. I so admire you and other people who went seeking God and His church. We (I) need to renew and live and commit to God’s gift everyday. Catholic by birth but live as converts and be real Catholics by choice, with God’s GRACE! Thank you and I hope we all pray for each other always. God Bless You. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

In my eyes John Paul is already a Saint! You worked with the Sisters of Charity, you prayed with them, you studied the Bible with them,I do envy that:). You kept your oath by joining the Military and God rewarded you with your lovely wife:)Your friend’s Mother prayed for you all those years! Thank you for reminding me to always pray for others. You are so abundantly blessed. Please do pray for us lukewarm Catholics to listen attentively to God’s call and to do all that he wants us to do.
I have worked with Sisters of charity but I know well I am not a saint, but far far away from that.

I'm going to have to listen to this one again. There's so much here and so much I can relate to, especially going through trauma and falling away, only to be pulled back yet again by the Holy Spirit.
