The front button on the left front seat is to give the seat an angle backwards, but on this one its impossible because theres the separation wall behind it. (It works when the car is used as a camper or something with an open space.)
Indeed you are my no1 channel for automotive review! Every guy on your team is on my preferable type of review. not short reviews not favoring certain manufacters very detailed on most review. full length always matter! One note only. if it is possible and if you want of course maybe you can change the infotainment language for the reviews to 2English so we can understood the different menus! keep up the good work!
In less than 1 year my new Peugeot Boxer L2H2 van had had a leaking windscreen X 2, new headlamps X 2, last week the remote central locking failed, the brakes a very squeaky, the sat nav has a mind of its own, leaking oil filter, various messages on the dash, I would definitely NOT buy another, nor would I recommend to anyone. Thanks
In my experience, to save money, the best thing to do is spend more money on something like a sprinter the VW equivalent. My smaller Vito had over 200,0000 before it had any major problems
The L2 H2 is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I have a silver one with blacked out windows, fitted out as a camper. It has 1.9m standing height and is brilliant in town. You don't get boxed in and it steers very precisely. You sit up high, in big comfy seats with masses of room. On the motorway, you are a couple of feet above the lorry spray and you don't get dazzled by lights. My partner bought a Golf mark 7 GTI, which is lovely, fast and stylish..... just not relaxing especially in town. Vans are fab. They make you like people all over again and I am old.
Every single video is done with so much Love that is so amazing. I am a hudge^^ car freak and I am Really Home on your Channel! Thank you and your Team! :)
What is very important in these vehicles are the brakes and brake wear. The weight those are pulling, has to be stopped again, and this used to be a big issue with those particular vehicles.
we would prefer the review of a camping car (motor home) instead of this empty van. May be one day ? i m sure Thomas would do a great job in this recreational , leisure segment.
I would love to see more of these commercial oriented cars. Much more useful than the large executive cars or sports car which no one will buy anyway. and no one should buy them because they're quite useless.
Good review Thomas! I've bought the Citroën jumper (relay) and it will be converted to a salestruck / foodtruck. It is the only van on the eu market (together with fiat ducato) that is suited for this kind of conversion because you can specify it with a reinforced chassis and reinforced braking system. Maybe the Mercedes sprinter is suitable but it costs far more.
Very nice review! Disabled people (like me) are often interested in such a vehicules, as they need the space in the loading area in order to fixate the wheelchair. I stay seated in the wheelchair during transport. We use the passenger version ofcourse...
After watching you drive the van and listing to the diesel, and hearing your fuel economy quote, I am glad the US Ram Promaster version gets the 3.6 L petrol/gas V6 with the 6 speed fully automatic transmission with a lockup torque converter instead of the automated manual supplied with the diesel. The responsiveness is much better and the fuel consumption is pretty close to your results. The sound is much better and it really scoots for a big van. Plus we do not have to purchase the diesel exhaust fluid for emissions. The diesel version has basically failed in the US market. Virtually all sales are for the gas version. It’s much more expensive than the gas engine. It would take a very long time to recover the cost in fuel savings. And the diesel costs quite a bit more to maintain and repair. I do prefer your hood and headlights verses the older style we get. We do not get the H3 roof that is available for your buyers. We just get the H1 and H2. We do get the 270 degree rap around rear doors standard. We do not get your optional automated climate control. We just get the manual system. We also get the roof clearance lights front and rear because US regulations require them on vehicles over 80 inches wide.
Finally, I've been waiting for this! :) Btw, I looked up what the first handle on the seat is for. Apparently it's to raise the front side of the seat.
Great channel, and open for all types of vehicles not only expensive toys like other reviewers, and hopefully will stay this way. Reminding me "Motorvison" on rtl or sat1 from my teenage years. Would like to see a bit more Japanese cars and thank You for recent Subaru presentation. All the best in the future.
Hi, Thomas greeting from Mysore :-), I love the subtle observation u make in your reviews. kudos to you and your team. I wanna to know what Kamera you are using while filming the truck like the one next to you stuck on the window. sorry for non-auto query.
Ciao, Thomas. Any rear view camera available? Canada (where I live) mandated today that all vehicles built from 2018 must have a rear view camera. This aligns us with our American cousins. Any such mandate in Germania?
nice review... btw I think this car is too big nd as it is used fr commercial some other purpose so it is necessary to put a larger touch screen for maps and for d rear view camera then i think it will be help for d customer those who wnt to buy .. these should be put for d safety purpose while parking d car.. or maps for observing search d unknown places easily ..🙂
I suppose there will still be fiat Peugeot Citroën vans because Fiat Chrysler and Peugeot Citroën have merged as stellantis so I think they’ll still do it
Very entertaining Review, Many Thanks Thomas. I like the driving views forward, out through the windscreen. But I couldn't see how the Side Assist worked! This van is very popular with camping car conversions, it would be great to see your detailed Review of one of these, or a VW Transporter T5 or T6 Hi-Top LWB camping car...
Interesting review. Observing the differences between the Boxer, Jumper, Ducato and the Ram Promaster. While similar in look and layout, there are some notable differences. The Boxer has 15 inch tires vs the Promaster 16 Inchers. The rear suspension looks to be about 2inches lower in ride height. The Promaster gets the 270 degree opening rear doors standard, the Boxer does not. The door cards look more heavy duty on the Promaster and have more storage capacity. The climate controls are totally different. And the Boxer is SLOW! That is a runty diesel, and it does not have that much better fuel economy than the 285 horse 3.6 liter pentastar gas v6. I definetly like the hood and headlight treatment on the boxer over the Promaster.
Haha Thomas, now you' re reviewing commercial vehicles too? Not my favourite type of cars, if i'm being honest :) But it's something different, so maybe it's not such bad idea.
Thomas needs to move. Asks auto manufacturer for free car to do a "review." Makes video of the move, including him re-shuffling the boxes. Puts it on YT. Makes tons of money.
Oh oh, seems like someone is very jealous here :) But I can put you at ease, if I would be making tons of money, I would surely not work 24/7 to present you 150 new cars per year - for free for everyone, just to mention. Rather be grateful for that instead of posting nonsense.
Autogefühl chill out my friend! The comment should have been as ridiculous as the video -- as you know, I really love your videos and this one was especially funny. it's clear you're not moving nor getting a billionaire any time soon. And even if you did it, would be well deserved somehow. really liked seeing the funny side of you. should integrate a little bit of that even in your normal videos.
Nice to see a review of a commercial vehicle :) ! I was amazed about the height you mentioned, but the max height (H3) is 2m 76 cm. 4m is not possible :p cheers !
Das English ist zum schmunzeln. Allways German englisch. Ich würde das nicht machen. Aber danke für den Einblick in den Transporter. Ich will seinen kaufen
Shit car. Fiat quality. I’m waiting after the all new Boxer/Jumper/Movano, which I hope that get PSA:s own platform with much more passenger car-like dashboard and the partnership with Fiat is over.
Maarten Yzer Z tego samego powodu, dla którego nie mówi w moim języku :) Bo nikt go nie rozumie. And now in English - because no one except Germans, Austrians and Swisses would be interested in listening to him ;) They have fans around the world so it's quite obvious to use this language which most of the people know.
Finally,You found "full length car" ,Thomas :))
haha =))
@Daniel Orozco No. But they buy the chassis from Fiat and put their engines in, in this case.
autogefuhl now it is officially vangefuhl =)
=)
Hope for more and more vans from Thomas
The front button on the left front seat is to give the seat an angle backwards, but on this one its impossible because theres the separation wall behind it. (It works when the car is used as a camper or something with an open space.)
interesting!
Tipping the seat back is very useful if you need to sleep. Not a big fan of bulkheads, although I'm sure they save lives.
Indeed you are my no1 channel for automotive review! Every guy on your team is on my preferable type of review. not short reviews not favoring certain manufacters very detailed on most review. full length always matter!

thanks buddy! We quite often do that
Autogefühl i have not still watch all of the recent review so i could have miss it! thank you for your quick answer:-)
i think in this case it doesnt matter as for the infotainment system, but in most reviews we switch language, sometimes before, sometimes live

Such a good idee to make review of utility vehicle ! Thanks for the diversity of yours reviews !
nice to know you like it !

This vid became an important part of my decision to buy that van :)
Thks, Thms
I've just ordered same van but in silver. Have to wait 3 months for delivery, but can't wait 😁
enjoy :)

thanks! Hope you ll serve vegan food =)
unfortunately, it are only Belgian sausages and a Belgian variation on "grillwurst" :)
Oh one more thing. I always drive in bare feet, so I never have trouble with pedals. And no it is not illegal...it is very very safe.
Globe-Traveller in Poland make the most amazing camper vans using these vans I'd love to see a review of one of those...Great review as always!
cheers!
I would prefer to see crew cab van and camper van as well as panel van please Thomas
Very nice review! Disabled people (like me) are often interested in such a vehicules, as they need the space in the loading area in order to fixate the wheelchair. I stay seated in the wheelchair during transport.

thanks! yes good point !
another good video Thomas.

FYI front lip is also for frontal crash protection.
you should watch the horizon level in your videos, like in 4:17, isn't a bit tilted? It's not the first time that I notice this.
As you might notice, I am standing straight - the car is not because the road is not straight :)
Finally, I've been waiting for this! :)
Btw, I looked up what the first handle on the seat is for. Apparently it's to raise the front side of the seat.
interesting, didnt quite seem to work :)
Nice review Thomas!
+Steven Sanchez 👍

hey m8, the action cam is a sony fdr
Thank you, Cheers :-)
Opel Movano and the upcoming Toyota Proace Max have same styling/design with Ducato/Boxer/Jumper Trio.
Excellent, thanks for doing a serious review in English :)
thanks, you re welcome to sub :)
Ciao, Thomas.

Canada (where I live) mandated today that all vehicles built from 2018 must have a rear view camera.
This aligns us with our American cousins.
Any such mandate in Germania?
That's interesting. Everything is getting 'mandatory' these days...!
ciao! Did you watch the whole review? Showing the rear view camera I think three times (outside/inside) :)
+Mario Dalla Riva very interesting with that regulation. Afaik blind spot monitoring should come first (after autonomous emergency brake of course)
That start haha xD
=))

Awsome review as allways :D while we are still waiting for the new 5 series, it would be cool if you can grab a i8 and do a review.
thanks! we ll have a nice lineup coming :)
Your jacket matches the car nicely. :)

Hallo Thomas
Machst du auch mal einen Review zum Iveco Daily?
+checker8401 hi! Die haben leider kein Interesse an online medien
The exhaust end pipe close to the drivers side is a really bad idea

Autogefuhl can we expect a full review of Iveco daily or better daily 4X4;
Sorry we dont have any contact there
@@autogefuehl No problem.
Oh very interesting change of pace :)
The front looks like a ducati multistrada (me thinks)
It would be nice to see some MPVs like VW Caddy or Renault Kangoo. They're also based on commercial vehicles ;)
+Aleksander Wilkowski youtube search autogefuehl vw caddy :)
Ok i know :) I mean i'd like to see other cars like this
How do I open the center console

I like driving these type of vans, if they were quieter on the highway, would be perfect for road trips. Ford Transit next? ;-)
VW Crafter next :)
Haha Thomas, now you' re reviewing commercial vehicles too? Not my favourite type of cars, if i'm being honest :) But it's something different, so maybe it's not such bad idea.
Ein FIAT mit Löwe vorne drauf. Warum reden Sie so komisch? Ist das English Unterricht?
Thank you
you're welcome!

No , Fiat Chrysler has been signed to PSA

this guy is annoyingly pedantic but good review otherwise
