can’t believe people are really complaining about this mission, it makes sense why it needs 2 players it wouldn’t hurt to talk to people or try lfg (lfg doesn’t bite)
I’m curious to know how the star eaters perk interacts with roaming supers like stormtrance. Could be huge considering it (at least at some point idk anymore) buffed silence and squall’s damage by 90%.
Okay so can you get them on other classes after doing it once or do you have to complete it per class?

I ran three overthrows and got 3 class items during that time. I was opening every chest I could find. The third one that I got was in the 5 free minutes after finishing, going back and forth from chests. Just a reference for people who want it.

you can both just use prismatic, you don't have to be the light vs dark base subclasses
Do you need to do it on just one or on all three to get it from the chests on one character?
For example, if I have done it on my hunter, can I just grab chests to get it or do I need to do it on my warlock and titan to farm chests just on hunter?

@@Corndog- ah I read it wrong. I thought u said if u done the mission on hunter you can get it from chests on any character.
Does anyone know if I unlock dual destiny mission (and finish it ) on hunter. Does the dual destiny mission unlock for the other two? Or do I have to do these steps again?

For those looking to solo the exotic quest just forget it. You’re forced to find someone or have friends. Bungie said the hell to solo players, and gave them the middle finger. Funny how they did it a week after so people can’t refund their purchase

Lol dude you are aware everyone has the sane access to start eaters? How does it specifically benefit warlocks when everyone has it? Plus my man celestial with still hunt puts out way more Damage than a nova bomb, one celestial shot does nearly a million once buffed and you can get off 5 or 6 in mist damage phases so LMAO "hunters DPS in shambles" lol hunters are doing just fine my man.
Now this being said obviously this will help out the other classes with DPS and I must point out nova is benefiting from the seasonal mods, golden gun is not. When this season ends celestial will still be great but nova will fall off in damage a bit. It will still be good but not doing current numbers my guy.
@@loreseeker6604 well I didn’t want to have to type it out but since you opened your mouth let’s go for it. First off it matters more on warlocks because we are the only class that hasn’t had a super boosting exotic ever. And as of recent final shape testing from reliable sources like Aegis and Llama currently nova bomb is a bit ahead of nighthawk which is around 460k(hate to say this but your fancy 999,999 is just a bug nothing more). That’s why golden gun is inconsistent on what you see vs what you get but uou probably didn’t know that. Next let’s be clear this is super vs super not weapons so leave still hunt out “for now”. With the massive 70% buff to nova or needlestorm from star eaters that easily puts the already great baseline super damage into a god level of burst. Meanwhile hunters need to stay locked to nighthawk so SES isn’t an option. And again the “artifact buff” to nova is 5%…since it raises a tether or tractor from 30% to 35% that’s not going to matter at all post this episode.
So back to the point warlocks have been getting buffs to damage supers for a while now and thanks to that we are at a point where our supers are insanely close now without the need for an exotic. Hunters use nighthawk, titans have curias or pyrogale. The only time SES matters is gathering storm and Blade barrage both which cap around 630kish. Nova would be much much higher.
Now let’s add in weapons still hunt is insane no denying that. But only for one boss. One boss being the witness who is designed for nighthawk and still hunt. EVERY OTHER boss in the game though no. Every other boss in the game usually is killed via rockets or GL’s so more classes can play. But take in the massive super gains now from SES and you add in a “normal” dps rotation of guns and hunters I’m afraid will be left behind. So yes enjoy your dps on the witness that’s all you guys have now. Take care and do some research before speaking again.
@@TargetSniper365wrong dps from still hunt celestial and grenade launcher easily out dps this still especially considering some bosses need to hit crits to do damage nova bomb is unviable and unusable against tormentors ect please cope
@@TargetSniper365 you do the stillhunt combo which takes a total of 4 seconds if you take animations into account. then you swap to a cascade bait n switch edge transit as you say most bosses die to those . then i outdps you anyway. hunters are busted af atm. and they def. need a nerf
