It's still like 3mil less damage than a hunter or lock can do in a single phase, so 6 mil less over 2 phases, but anyone telling you to get off titan needs to get good at the game if it's required for them to complete the raid. You can very easily two phase regardless of what class is being used. Only reason you go for a full fireteam of hunters or locks is if you want a 1 phase and let's be real, 99% of the player base can't even stay alive during damage so it really doesn't matter how much damage you can theoretically do. Side note though, you don't want to be shooting rockets unless you're standing away from everyone else when you shoot. You'll be playing dodge the guardian and more often than not, end up needing to be revived if you don't position yourself away from everyone else.

Maybe watch some dps videos on witness and you’ll realise your reply makes 0 sense. It is indeed you who has no idea about anything to do with the witness. Typical destiny player pulling the trigger before doing their own research.

The one with the lowest damage died 3 times, the one with the second lowest died twice. The Warlock missed a full damage phase and still did 3 million. The only Hunter to survive the entire time did 6 Million, and he was popping his Goldy off in the Well. The Hunters in this video were just bad.

With a proper damage rotation and obviously not dying every phase. Anyone can hit high total damage numbers when they’re pretty much the only one doing damage

FYI: you can stand still in a well at the front with triple solar resist and survive all his attacks par from the jump. Makes DPS so much less of a hassle.
Ngl, the timing on the drop at 3:19 synced with the Prismatic pose was perfect. The slo-mo also lets you see that the pose incorporates the Transcendence casting animation. Casual massive W right there.
I haven’t nailed the damage rotation yet, but I used your dps method with cloud strike and crux. I ended up with 5.3 million damage, which was second most. And it felt great. It also helps that I LOVE hazardous propulsion lol. So thank you for this

I've been using it in a similar manner to this, but with Dragon's Breath and a Crafted Embraced Identity with Enhanced RR and Enhanced FTtC (with Appended Mag and Back-Up Mag + triple Void Reserves, you get 27 shots in total not counting FTtC and it's Supremacy but Void with a higher damage frame) on Sentinel. It's this exact same rotation and it's godly. Offensive Bulwark + Shieldcrush = SO many Weakening, Enhanced Duration Vortex Grenades and Controlled Demolitionist adds so much incidental damage.
@@ianjohnson3770 Proccing it is hell when you're only using it for a couple of shots instead of a rocket-heavy DPS rotation. Your rocket launcher is only out for the time you need to holster reload your sniper. Therefore pulling out your primary to reproc bait is a massive waste of time and handling. You're not here for rocket damage, you're here to add a cherry on top of your Still Hunt rotation.
The reason why people say “can’t dps as Titan” is because you have to OBJECTIVELY PLAY 100x BETTER than what you’re used to in order to pull off good damage where as celestial nighthawk go brr

the biggest reason his damage was so high was because the rest of the raid teams was so low. if either of the other hunters just shot off all their still hunt shots witness would have been dead long before and his damage would have been in the 4m~5m range.

same build i use and it goes so damn hard for dps. use a solar holster and you can shoot both rockets to let still hunt reload one, and that will give you just enough in the mag to chain caydes retribution which will keep reloading it

Awesome vid, it's inspiring to see what you can achieve even on a titan (most I've hit was 2.6mil a phase let alone the 3.5-4 you're getting). I have a couple questions about this though. What's your method of building transcedence and super? I notice when I use Twilight that I'm usually just a bit behind on super regen before a damage phase, and typically only get it back if I'm ad-clearing and spamming melee kills. Additionally, what's your strat for ammo generation? My only concern with this set up is the heavy ammo rng could make or break a rotation entirely.

titans supposed "lack of dps" is 100% skill issue on their part. You may not do the same DPS of a Hunter with THE 1% mega optimized build but you sure do have the resources to make at least 5M damage
Hunters can hit upwards of 5 mil on a good dmg phase with Still hunt/apex/smoke bomb/hailfire. Considering this was 2 phases 1 final this titan strategy can hit about 4 mil per phase. Pretty solid man.

I wish there was a way to practice this without actually doing the encounter. We need a tribute hall or they need to fix the thing in the enclave where you can proc things like caydes retribution, kill clip, BnS, explosive light, etc... Why we dont have a testing range is beyond my knowledge.
That is definitely great gameplay, even if the scoping is a little silly. Any reason why? Hip fire connects just fine, staying scoped is fine if you know what you're doing with standing. People should note 9 mil is very very good in two phases, only possible if your teammates aren't keeping up.
I did similar damage (8-9mil, not quite as much as this but still more than my teams hunters lol) with my raid team using eternal warrior + star eaters class item with twilight arsenal and edge transit (normal envious + bns, no double roll cascade bs) and the new pale heart sniper (reconstruction + precision instrument, mostly to pop witness glyphs but still decent for the damage phase, could prolly swap to wilderflight but ive had gl shots bounce off of the witness sometimes so i try to stay away from that. Happy with my setup rn but ill for sure give this a try sometime
May have the worst prismatic, but we got tiny rockets and a dream. Fr tho this has to be one of the best neutral exotics, even if you aren’t using a rocket it still does good damage
don't mean to nitpick or anything. but i have noticed that exodus rocket damage buff from the chest exotic doesnt apply until the mini missiles hit the target first. meaning you have to wait half a secondo so for them to fully land first before firing your rocket launcher.

But his is all coming from the same video where the brain damaged hunters on his team cant even stay on the platform or simply dodge the lasers so its whatever.
@@madspice1663kinda late but if you play it back in .25 speed you can literally see his mini rockets hit way before his main rocket hits soooo yeah . . . The mini rockets either move the same speed or faster than his apex so as long as he uses it before he shoots it’ll hit
@@adamzone3708 thats not what i meant,rockets that are already in the air do not benefit from damage buff, just because the mini missles hit before the apex rocket hits doesn't mean he gets the damage bonus, you have to to fire your heavy after the rockets hit when you have the damage buff, in other words rockets that are already in the air that were fired before you get dmg buffed are not affected by the buff, you have to wait for the buff then fire the main gun.

Missing final stand in the hunter clip because nobody stopped to revive is wild. Reviving in that phase is a net dps increase.

I did similar damage (8-9mil, not quite as much as this but still more than my teams hunters lol) with my raid team using eternal warrior + star eaters class item with twilight arsenal and edge transit (normal envious + bns, no double roll cascade bs) and the new pale heart sniper (reconstruction + precision instrument, mostly to pop witness glyphs but still decent for the damage phase, could prolly swap to wilderflight but ive had gl shots bounce off of the witness sometimes so i try to stay away from that. Happy with my setup rn but ill for sure give this a try sometime

don't mean to nitpick or anything. but i have noticed that exodus rocket damage buff from the chest exotic doesnt apply until the mini missiles hit the target first. meaning you have to wait half a secondo so for them to fully land first before firing your rocket launcher.

@@robbiestafford6889 it isnt. at 0:38 you can see him fire a rocket directly after class ability and the rocket hit the witness before the exotic missile barrage did. But his is all coming from the same video where the brain damaged hunters on his team cant even stay on the platform or simply dodge the lasers so its whatever.
@@madspice1663kinda late but if you play it back in .25 speed you can literally see his mini rockets hit way before his main rocket hits soooo yeah . . . The mini rockets either move the same speed or faster than his apex so as long as he uses it before he shoots it’ll hit
@@adamzone3708 thats not what i meant,rockets that are already in the air do not benefit from damage buff, just because the mini missles hit before the apex rocket hits doesn't mean he gets the damage bonus, you have to to fire your heavy after the rockets hit when you have the damage buff, in other words rockets that are already in the air that were fired before you get dmg buffed are not affected by the buff, you have to wait for the buff then fire the main gun.
