It takes longer to kill that ogre than it does to kill the taken ogre in shattered throne, getting to Dul Incaru, and then killing her.
@@jaquonjohnson I didn’t forget, the fight just eats up so much time with the plate rotating I didn’t want to bore people so I skipped it
But we did do it and unsurprisingly still hunt cooked him
crazy part about this is we can use Still Hunt in EVERY boss encounters since it's a range weapon and since it's a SPECIAL weapon, we're not gonna have hard time to refill the ammo unlike heavy

Not entirely sure how they can nerf it. Make it harder to build up? They can't really nerf the damage since the whole point is it's a Golden Gun.
I'm also hoping they look into other weapons first, like Euphony. Still Hunt needs a nerf, but nerfing something that takes skill to use over something that just requires normal gameplay is kinda weird.
They could make it either a heavy or lower its ammo reserves, or have it do half the damage of a golden gun wich is still more damage then most non hunter supers @@SealFormulaMaster
@@SealFormulaMaster it’s not truly that skillful even if your just still hunt dumping it’s still insanely competitive dmg and putting on celestial doesn’t take much though or skill since you’d use it with a celestial for normal goldie anyway. They can nerf the time needed to charge ur goldie or slightly nerf the dmg. Its is not that skillful

Just adding another 2 shots to build up caydes retribution would slow down dps enough

Can we get a euphony vs every boss? I figure you already know the Needlestorm-apotheosis gimmick that lets you stack spindle to 25, but I want to see the comparison to still hunt
There is definitely some overtuning here when this gun performs better by miles than it's closest counterpart (Izanagi's Burden) with just an exotic helmet.

ive sone some testing with it in spire and you can do about 3/4 of akelous' health solo and duo 1 phase with it.

If you dont mind me asking whats the reason for stepping out of the well when using golden gun? Is there a buff or something that doesnt stack?
Radiant Buffs Goldie, But radiant goes away when Your in a well. So you step out of the well for Your Goldie shot and then step in the well for Your sniper Shots

I think if they were to nerf it they’d make it where if you die with the bar filled at any amount, you’ll lose all your progress and they’ll probably make it to where when you rally it won’t fill

That would ruin it for everyone else though because the gun is kinda cheeks on anything that isn't a celestial hunter. If they're gonna nerf it it's just gonna be a reduction in damage for the nighthawk interaction

I hate to say it like this but doesn't anyone feel that Goldie is doing TOO much damage for the lack of effort it takes to use it? Literally all the effort a Hunter needs now is to point and click and do more damage than their entire team. And now with Still Hunt they just repeatedly do that. It's honestly quite the disappointment that it has never been touched and it only got stronger somehow, likely because other options became less powerful and the bosses way more punishing to get close to. Just look at the Witness, you can't even get into melee range in the first place because there's literally no floor. The only saving grace to Still Hunt is anyone can use it. Golden Gun itself is just too much right now and needs some heavy tuning to bring it down to par with all the other high damage burst supers.
@@demitrischoenwald1436 not sure what you mean nighthawk never got touched. It was pretty terrible for a long time until season of the wish IIRC
Also, it’s a risk reward super on most targets. If you hit, great…big damage. But if you miss you get punished severely
@@SneakyBeaverYeah but let’s be real here, who the hell with hands is missing a nighthawk shot. Taking time to line up the shot is worth it in most cases so missing, a) doesn’t happen much, and b) is an actual skill issue. It’s not high risk basically ever for most people. Not agreeing that it needs a nerf (at least not a substantial one) but it is freely the most damage you can do instantly with little effort. Still hunt on the other hand is absolutely busted and does need a substantial nerf outright. Nighthawk isn’t a problem, but 6 of them in one phase from one guy is.
@@aarongregory4980so by that logic are you suggesting we nerf all burst supers? Cuz nighthawk is certainly the hardest burst super to get 100% damage on. Blade barrage, nova bomb, twilight arsenal are braindead easy, just hit the target
@@aechinator9905 I didn’t say I wanted nighthawk nerfed. Nighthawk is fine as a burst damage super, still hunt is the problem.
I seriously don't appreciate still hunt nighthawk. I did witness for the first time yesterday and did over 2 million within the first phase despite dying. I didn't use any other weapon other than still hunt. Bungie needs to stop creating these monotonous metas where every fireteam and every person uses the same thing.
@@tukynii tbf even if you took still hunt out of the equation, something would still be put at #1 and be the “everyone uses this” meta. On this case it’s probably microcosm instead of still hunt

@@SneakyBeaver Yes, but I don't think anyone should be able to slap on a exotic as a first timer and consistently out damage a vet player who has optimized their loadout and perfected their b&s cycle.
That is my issue with it. High skill ceiling should reward with high damage, but still hunt out damages any high skill ceiling loadout.
I mean apotheosis is on warlocks class item and I think you can get star eaters so that’s gotta also be ridiculous in damage, titans……uhhh well titans yeah

Still hunt is one of my favorite exotics that came with Final Shape and now i dont want this thimg nerf, for a special weapon this thing hits CRAZY numbers. That is if you hit all of your shots. Plus, if they had a catty for this gun, imagine triple tap or fourth times
Sad the amount of these cry babies I've seen for the past few days that wanted this nerfed because a random hunter in their team is doing higher dmg than their sweaty bait and switch rotation build lol

@@thelordprimeproductions2700 still hunt is definitely easier to use, I wouldn't say skill issue to them but it's a pve game, why the hell would u crying it for a nerf when it gets the job done as long as everyone is in the same team. They are salty cause they wouldn't top the dps chart for bragging rights smh
The thing I don’t like about Still Hunt is that it kind of forces a Warlock on the team to use Div and I just don’t like someone being forced to use it if they don’t want to
it's been this way since forever always having a div so someone always had this role
