Please let the director's original vision for this movie be what gets released in theaters instead of editing it into oblivion and leaving us with a jumbled mess. I've heard there is a good coherent version of Suicide Squad somewhere out in the ether before you let a trailer company get a hold of it and the extended cut of Batman v. Superman was actually better than the theatrical version. So please, do yourself and your fans a favor and just let this one be whatever the director intended it to be.

dont know about Justice League but this movie has proved to be turning point for DC at this moment. The movie is truly awesome and now the thing is people will not only go to see Batman, Cyborg, Aquaman and flash in Justice League. They will go to watch Wonder Woman and this is where Justice League will have an advantage. A plus point as Wonder Woman is a big blockbuster now.

I wasn't aware that a woman saving a bunch of men's lives automatically makes a movie bad. Or is it just because men(not all, but some) are so stuck up with having had their way with male superhero and male powered movies that even the thought of a woman saving lives in one or being a lead in a successful movie is too much of an idea for your brain to comprehend? Does it damage your ego and pride that much?
Double check your statements: Bad acting? Nah, everyone was fantastic, and Chris Pine made just as amazing a Steve Trevor as Gal Gadot did as Diana as Danny Huston did as Ludendorff. Everyone was perfectly casted. Bad script? Heck no! Alongside amazing dialogue, the soundtrack perfectly helps deliver the emotions the scene is trying to push forward. Bad cgi? While there were a few spots that could've been better, the same applies to every movie out there that's ever used cgi. Feminism? There's nothing wrong with women being portrayed as being strong and not the stereotypical damsel in distress.

I realized now why I am more excited about THIS movie than I am about the Justice League one. This movie uses LIGHT. it is not afraid of being colorful when it has to be an dark when it serves the story. It is not a constant wish-mash of shadows and rubble. The main character GLOWS in her full colors like a beacon of hope. You see, "grim and Gritty" is Batman's domain. Every hero has its own soul and I think this one will do a good work capturing Wonder Woman's. I wish nothing but the best for this one.

Each to their own opinion, but I swear, the amount of times I hear "dark and gritty" and hope as somehow mutually exclusive is too pitifully common. I'm glad for this film too, but can we all move on from disregarding the current DCEU films for its serious, reality based, approach whenever another film with different filters comes out already?
I love Snyder's work as a matter of fact. "300" and "WATCHMEN" are two movies I regard as the best Comic-book adaptations to film I've seen. I even LOVE "SUCKER-PUNCH" (notice I didn't say Like but actually LOVE) and those are the reasons I hate to see him fail. I would love to see him using his epic style outside of the darkness and shadows he seem too comfortable to work with. That's all. Batman is at home in his visual style. Superman and Wonder Woman?...not so much.

The movie did so well this weekend. The director is now the largest opening weekend grossing female director ever. It even beat the first two Thor and Iron Man movies in International grosses. Amazing! As happy as people are, I can't imagine anyone ever predicted this success.

But it was worth the wait. I feel so privileged I saw a live-action Wonder Woman movie in theaters.
To all the geniuses who say this film is being marketed badly, this trailer is one of the best of the year if not the last few years except for the sword bit at the end! It is actually very reminiscent of the final the Man of Steel trailer which is definitely one of the best ever made. The music score is as epic in tone as the visuals and conveys the heroism of the character.
Again, I'm absolutely over waiting for this!!! Going to be the best movie ever!!!

Regardless of whether the DCEU has failed or not, these films are just plain fun, and I'm really looking forward to Wonder Woman. The small role Gadot had in Batman V Superman was enough for me to say she was the best choice for the role. Also, somebody please stop being so negative towards these films. It's as if the whole world was expecting to get a bottle of milk and instead they got a bottle of orange juice and are now throwing a fit because it didn't turn out they wanted. Well, guess what, stop expecting things to go the way you want them to, because the world doesn't work like that. Just enjoy the movie.

In her original origins, she was made out of clay by Queen Hypolita, Athena gave her life, and she & other Greek Gods gave her gifts, like beauty, strength and wisdom. And I dont recall that stuff being kept secret from Diana.

Still don't understand why dc would spend 170 million dollars on suicide squad while Wonder Woman barely gets a 100 million production budget .
Probably because Will Smith anchored SS and this one is based on a female superhero. Female-led superhero movies have not been successful, honestly. That's because they've all been shit in my opinion but studios think that doesn't matter because Transformers and similar trash makes so much and they're not entirely wrong but they don't seem to get that the better a movie is, the more it will usually make. They see it as a risk. You can tell them a great WW movie will make money hand over fist all day long but they won't listen. So they didn't want to invest as heavily in this because "market trends" don't look that good.

Honestly if this film sucks, I've lost hope for DC. I thought they couldn't fuck up Suicide Squad because David Ayer was a great director and the cast was good but nope, turns out it was Warner Bros. who fucked up the editing. Would not be surprised if it was Warner Bros, not Patty Jenkins, that ruined the film if it turned out to be bad.

I feel like this needs to be said anytime a trailer like this comes out: YOU CAN STILL ENJOY MARVEL AND DC DESPITE WHATEVER FLAWS EACH FRANCHISE HAS. You can be excited for the colorful, funny, and just plain weirdness of Guardians of the Galaxy and still be excited for the somber and inspiring Wonder Woman. I personally have my gripes with both franchises but I still would never say I outright hate them. We are comic book fans and there has never been a time like now where we should all be excited for the movies that are coming out. Now is not the time where fans should be at each other's throats but instead should be celebrating the sheer awesomeness of the fact that this year we will be getting a sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy, an actual Wonder Woman movie, what appears to be the most comic accurate version of Spider-Man ever put to film, what looks to be the best Thor movie and the closest we will ever get to a Planet Hulk movie, and last but not least we are getting the freaking JUSTICE LEAGUE this year! Talk about comic book movie HYPE!!!!!!

How about we celebrate the damn fact that we're getting the first female superhero movie, (something Marvel still hasn't done after like 14 movies) directed by an amazing female director, and portrayed by an amazing strong woman.
This movie can be an inspiration for so many girls and boys alike, Diana is a true role model, we need more people that think like her in this world, maybe this movie can inspire us all to be better people

The number one thing that bothers me the most as a fan of WW is that the big role the actress doesn't have blue eyes, black hair and fair skin like Wonder Woman does. Looking at your profile picture, you do not naturally have blue eyes or your skin is not as fair (thank God for Snapchat filters though) as the comic Wonder Woman, does that mean you should not amount to anything close to Wonder Woman?
The decision to cast (slightly) against type should be seen as a positive thing especially for non-white, non-blue eyed, non-Caucasian women that they too can become like Wonder Woman.
It's not all about the looks honey... you should remind yourself that once in a while...

Mobius One i loved it! It feels like how Superman is supposed to feel, he's actually not the "happy go-lucky" guy everyone thinks he is. BvS was also really good coming from a die-hard Batman fan, Affleck captured the essence of screwed up older Bruce Wayne. I'm also a Snyder fangirl and i feel like people are just going after him since he's not doing the MCU's childish ways (Civil War was shit they didn't do anything right AND THEY KILLED OFF CROSSBONES!)

During the time when MoS and BvS were in the theatres, the whole bashing was pissing me off. Suddenly everyone, was an expert in film making and criticising him..
SWATversion3 I dont critize him he is a great visual director people pissing him are just stupid haters I watched Men of Steel two times on theaters the first time in 3D on a top notch theater in image and sound Quality and the second time on the third largest IMAX movie screen (not just imax movie screen overall at the time) in the Planet (97-98 feet wide) in 70MM IMAX 3D. And even with its flaws is a masterpiece top 5 comic book movies. I love that movie. And that was too the time i got the opportunity to a theater of that Quality best movie experience ever.
I don't know if he's a bad director, but I haven't enjoyed his movies, save (oddly) for the Watchmen. BUT, if I WERE to describe him as a bad director, I suppose I could site how I feel he does a poor job pacing his films, building his characters, and avoiding the style over substance problem (all of which are more specific than just "whatever reason").
If you enjoy his films, that's great, but I think people have very valid reasons for not enjoying them as well. Also, I am not into the whole, "you need to be an expert in film making to criticize" or praise a film or film-maker. Films are meant to be consumed by a general audience. If a plumber without a film studies degree walked out of BvS and said, "I didn't enjoy that. It didn't make a ton of sense, and I thought it was too dark" I think that's valid.
