    I think the song was perfect. They were riding high off of their first two albums and this track was the pure essence of Oasis. The attitude, the lyrics, and the music video perfectly encapsulated what Oasis was.

    I agree with Noel there, that song was their peak. When you think how good that song was and compare it to any song on the next album SOTSOG there is no comparison.

    It is the absolute quintessential Oasis song. The lyrics, the swagger, the melody, the video, the Wonderwall chords, it's all brilliant. So what if it takes forever to start? Would you complain of too much foreplay before sex with a hot bird? C'mon now

    Noel: I had this real bad case of writer's block one night, but then Liam turned up and was in one of his longer rants... and that's where I got the song title from, and then I decided to nick the chord progression from Wonderwall and boom... genius... song done.

    It was riding of the repetitional back of the first 2 albums and so had massive hype and it was nothing more than a b-side. Actually, Oasis' b-sides up to that point were better than any a-side that came of Be Here Now or any of there stuff from then on.

    This game where Noel and other fans of Oasis talk about this song like "Oh, it's not as good as Supersonic or other Oasis songs , but it's still pretty interesting"... This song is scientifically proven to not only be the best Oasis song ever, but THE best song ever, in music history, period. Simple as that.

      The only song that's over-baked for me on BHN is Stand by Me. Way too redundant. Could have chosen a better way to do it. Needed refined a bit is all. I still like the lyrics, but it's too long for what it is. Everything else is perfect as a whole.

    Makes me wonder why they haven’t remixed Be Here Now, there’s no reason why you couldn’t go over the songs and take some bits out and mess around with it. The only issue with Be Here Now is that it’s overproduced, there’s too much stuff going on and a lot of stuff is drowned out
