Authentic, inspiring, useful and practical. I absolutely love that you not only tell us what to do, but show us. And more than that, you show us how to be adaptive and come up with new ideas that work for us as learners teaching ourselves. Your approach feels more like creative play and having fun with a language. I'm definitely up for that!
This looks amazing!! I do a lot of this but not everything and honestly this may be the way forward to get to a solid B1 by June. Hope to make it to some coffee hours when I'm in Oslo in June 🙏🏿
This is pretty amazing. You are great for this. I’m learning Russian and will use your tips and tricks for that language. Thanks for the hard work in putting this all together 🙌🏾 ⚡️
good luck with your project! 🎉 But, please keep making the videos principally in Norwegian! i mainly watch your channel to be able to listen to something in Norwegian that is relatively simple but not so much as to bore me like most of what I could easily find... you could apply the same concept of levels to your own videos where you would have moments which are more complex or less complex perhaps... so yeah... i hope it's just this one... tusen takk
It´s impressive how much love and time you put into your work. Amazing service you´ve been doing and it will pay off so much in the future. Keep it up and thank you so so much!
Thank you so much for your nice comment ! I do spend a lot of time and love in all of this haha, and to be honest it gives me so much joy that it's really worth it:) Also, reading all of your nice comments warms my heart, thank for the support ! 💙
Just subscribed 🎉. I am subscribing Duolingo and I know I am too inconsistent. I need more methods. This fits the bill perfectly. I was looking for book to learn when I started my journey 1 year ago, but I know how that would go… and they are expensive. This project is so exciting, time will tell how successful, but I am hopeful. ❤❤❤ very hopeful and very excited 😂
Its so frustrating right now because ive recently gained a really strong interest in learning Norwegian so I can understand stuff my great grandma wrote (and just for fun!) but im in four ap classes at the moment and dont have time! :(( hopefully soon ill have more time for personal projects!! I love your videos!!
I really hope that you will have a bit more time to study Norwegian soon, it seems like a really good motivation that you have! Good luck with the classes you have, I will keep making videos and hopefully they will be useful and help you a bit even if you don't have so much time 💙
Thanks for making this video! It really helps a lot. Also I was wondering whats the difference between “noe” and “noen” in sentences. Keep up the good work ❤
Norska är på min lista att studera, men jag lär på mig svenska just nu. It's similar enough that I still get something out of your norska vlogs, so I figure it won't be too hard to tackle norska after I'm comfortable på svenska. Basically, you will, at some point, take my money. This is brilliant!
I am actually going to make a video about getting better at understanding Swedish in not too long haha, det blir sikkert en interessant video for deg:) Det er kult at du kan brukte volggene mine for å prøve å forstå litt norsk ! Maybe see you soon on Patreon then ! 💛
thanks Ilys. my suggestion; If our primary goal is speaking, do not try to learn a new word without hearing it. Hear it somewhere first, then it will be easier to learn. This way, it will be easier for you to understand and speak in the future.
Oh congratulations! I will definitely subscribe on Patreon. Would you mind if I share a few of the exercises with my Norsk conversation group? I would definitely encourage them to subscribe as well.
Hi, it's really nice that you're thinking of subscribing !:) As for to share, the best is to not share the journals with those who haven't payed because then they get my work for free, and it's a shame for me... But it's really nice to share my project with others! What you could do is to tell them that they have access to a free journal, the summer version is free (it's in the link in my bio on Instagram). So they can try and see if they like it and if they want to consider subscribing to them monthly journals. But yeah, I trust that you will not share all my work, so do what you feel like is best 🌸
@@chadbailey7038 Not necessarily. Norwegian doesn't really have grammatical cases so if you want to learn a language with ones, you can't always "switch the language"
@Lexielimey yeah i realized that was a dumb moment of mine. You just have to add an extra step, which is basically trying to learn each case ending (only for regular words though, else it'll be too complicated) according to the gender of the noun
Hi:) The reason why I make these videos in English is for other people who are learning different languages to be able to get inspired as well:) It's true that the structures of the languages might be different, but in this video I really give ideas that you can use to learn any language. I am going to stick to teaching how to learn Norwegian because that's what I am motivated to do, but there are many videos out there that explain how to learn other languages as well:) I hope you're going to find what you need 🌸
Yes yes, you can ! I'm just used to using google translate because AI didn't exist when I learnt Norwegian and I haven't gotten used to use it. But of course, it you use ChatGPT it's the same, even better probably. Also, I know that some people ask Chat GPT to explain to them why a sentence is a certain way, and it can be really useful when you learn on your own!:)

I am jonly one who are not learning Norwegian but I am still here ?
hi iilys, how are you doing ? can you recommend me a website to write a cv in norwegian thank you .
and by the way you are doing great job 🎉
Hi ! I'm a bit unsure to be honest ... I have never used or seen anything like this, but maybe you could ask AI to help you with something like this?
@ ok thank you
You know I'd love to learn Norwegian! But I'm really occupied learning French, Spanish and English so i'll just stick around
Ohh waw, sounds like you have a lot to do already ! Good luck learning French, it's not an easy language but it's a really pretty one!

You should give advices for us to learn other languages
It’s the same advice. Just switch the language 🤷🏾♂️. All the same steps.

@pepitomlg the framework for studying the language would be the same, but she made that other video explaining how she taught herself.
