This is a wonderful adventure story written by HG Wells, a very influential and imaginative English writer from the late 19th century. The story is full of vivid descriptive language, action, adventure and extraordinary moments. I hope it captures your imagination and lets the English come alive in memorable ways.

I read this story several times; first in my own language, and later in the original and I always loved it (I always loved the stories from H. G. Wells anyway). I like how Luke explains the meaning of some words or idioms. It's so genius, I can almost see before me how it all happened. Thank you for this wonderful podcast. ❤
