I found the mic on amazon when I was trying to upgrade and got it for roughly $60-80 alone. It's a great mic for any casual streamer, but I also wish that the mic volume changer was clicked (5:55) because I've had moments where I'm accidentally more quiet than intended. I love it a lot because you don't have to have a whole separate interface (Focusrite Scarlett for example) on your desk.

Hooked mine up to a Psa1 boom arm and cranked the gain all the way down. Without any editing, I'd have to say that's how you get the best audio with the Quadcast 👍🏼
The last few seconds about your filters would have been the most important for me :D

How did you get such a clean recording out of the box? Mine picks up every little noise unless I crank the gain all the way down at which point it doesnt pick up anything. Is noise gate just an OBS thing?
Can you share to us the config you using in obs, like de compress specs and noise gate?

Wow! I use the the same microphone but for whatever reason it starts to send out noise when I stream and it does it only while streaming. Discrod and everything is just fine!

I bought this mic and love it for zooming. Recently I bought a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 audio interface as I would like to do some music recording. When I tried to connect the mic to the interface, I then realized it was impossible as there is no USB input to the interface. Is that mean I have to buy another microphone for the interface? Can you help and give me some advice?

For streaming the only thing I use is OBS. In there you can add a compressor, hard limiter and other stuff

Does it pick up fan noises ?! For example my room is hot and I have a fan on me at all times
Yes it (and any mic) will pick up fan noises
The only problems I have seen from other videos on the mic is that the Built in Pop Filter is meh and can't be removed and cleaned without disassembling the mic and no volume on the Audio Passthrough Jack.
Also the other patterns are there for music, environmental, binaural (ASMR), group, and interview recordings
I was planning on adding my own pop filter anyway tbh. The way it is now hasn't really been an issue for me but I imagine once you throw it on a mic arm it'll be more needed
question brotha how do you disable to mic on your headset and use the quadcast mic on gamechat instead ? (pc)
I'd say either change your input in the game menu, or set the Quadcast as your default mic in your mic settings (windows)

Hey ! How u fix ur mic noise ? i have always static noise and buzzing behind my voice with the quadcast HyperX, i don't know why do u know why the sound is not like your mic ?

How close is your ps4 to your mic? lol. You might want to look into a dynamic mic if you're in a loud environment (or move your PS4 somewhere else)
@@JerryNeutron yeah i fixed the problem a bit by moving it further its really just my controller i can hear now i try my hardest to play with it as far as possible but still makes noise but its doing great so far, thanks for the help

yeah then any in game sounds will go thru the microphone which is very clutch

people dont like the sounds of mechanical keyboards if they dont like the sound they gotta listen to blue switches the other ones can get annoying but the blue switches never get annoying

I have this microphone but it doesn't sound good, I have it on cardio on the 1st level and still I can hear a lot white noise :'( why??? Please help
Try plugging it into a USB port on the back of your PC. Don't use the front ones on your case or any usb hub
@@JerryNeutron Thank you~ I have a gaming laptop... I reduced the CPU usage to avoid fans going on and killed other sounds as the fridge. It seems fine now :)
