Plumbing Repairs - Joining Different Types of Pipe to PEX

If you need to make a plumbing repair or are planning to renovate, you might just need to tie into an existing style of pipe and transition to another like PEX. With many styles of piping systems out there and literally thousands of fittings to choose from, this can seem a lot harder than it should be. I take you through the most common styles of pipe you might encounter and show the styles of fittings to use to make the transitions. I want to make an outdoor garden sink starting with the end of a garden hose connecting to the bottom of a 3 ft. pvc pipe that I'll secure to a rock going upwards and to a maybe 5inch pvc pipe so it sticks out to a spigot that I'll have fauceting water into a clay pot. Blink if u understand ughh! So hard to explain or find vid of.
