This is a snaplock roofing system with no exposed fasteners so we have to bend a hem at the eave end to hook over the eave trim and add a vertical bend at the top to prevent wind driven rain from getting too far up under the ridge cap. Big props for keeping that difficult moment in the video. In the real world, this is what happens. I started working on cars about three years ago and youtube videos were certainly helpful. All of the plastic crap that snapped or the things I dropped through from the top down--starting with my first attempt at car repair--it's a rarity to show the true difficulties in these types of tasks. I appreciate that moment above all in your video, as I type with a broken knuckle (from hitting frame while breaking a bolt free in a parking lot somewhere.) I am almost ready to replace the two water lines going into my water heater plus the pressure relief valve. Your video is part of my prep work. Your video is unique in showing the difficult part and also in your decision to change the fitting that goes into the water heater. Thanks.

I haven't been able to find ANY YTube reviews for the new HART 19oz framing hammer sold by Walmart and maybe some other places, they've been out a while now, I'm perplexed that I haven't been able to find any...I bought one just because I don't have a framing hammer and always wanted one, and might try some shed/ small house building sometime in the future, I hope I didnt make a bad decision .

Maybe drain a gallon out of the water heater before starting. The vibrations from hammering fittings on a water heater can damage the glass lining in the tank. Use a long pipe on the end of the pipe wrench instead.

8 out of 10 times it leaks after replacing the $15 nipple anyway because it usually isn't the nipple at all- it's the $600 tank inlet threads.

I have over a dozen battery operated chainsaws; from a couple of different manufacturers; and none of them perform as poorly as the one you are demonstrating. Am I saying my saws never stall? Of course not! But not as often as that Makita!

Give them a hundred years and those metal ties are going to carry rust right through your wall, and speed the rusting of your rebar as well. They're not what you'd use if you want your wall to last.

You'd have less concern about the holes going through perfectly square if you used a jig on your drill. They're a great way to make sure you're perpendicular when you're drilling through something where that really matters, like these forms.

HELP, I am trying to remove a toilet flange on concrete. Trying to remove the black insert part that's over the metal bolted flange and extends down into the septic a little. I have been trying to pry it out but i don't know if the black piece is glued or just years of stuck? this has to be removed before the metal flange can be removed right? do you think its glued or just keep trying to pry it out? i have pictures but not sure how to include them in this post. i want to learn how to do things on my own and cannot find one video on the removal of this black insert?
