@@ivorymantis1026 thats an absolute lie, ng+ and so on are meant to be rushed to the next difficulty, the region lock system is telling you that very quickly. I love the fact that you actually explained early game. I remember people coming from dark souls in nioh 1 being confused and oddly entitled with the assumption that by level 60 they would be shredding everything with ease. I ended up running a spearfall red demon build up for most of my playthroughs, but I had to run dual katanas with water dance to get to that point
Thanks a lot for making content for this game for us PC players. It's kinda pointless to look at builds from ~11 months ago or 10, because I'm sure a lot has changed and things have been nerfed in that time. Having a general idea what to invest into on normal difficulty helps a lot :)
I could listen to you explain things all day. Great video, especially since I put a few hundred hours on PS4 but never got the DLC as I wanted some fresh content for PC release.
I loved original Nioh. This game will be unlocking on steam in 2.5 hours, which... means tomorrow for me. Anybody looking to play... The entire first playthrough can be considered to be a tutorial for the game mechanics, thus "early game" as described in the video. Extra playthroughs add additional game mechanics. In contrast Dark Souls is mostly once and done, additional playthroughs will add some content in DS2 but not really in the other games. Anyway, thanks for the tips man :)
Greetings and Salutations Sir!!! I have been using your build guide and it absolutely SLAPS!!! I used it for my Way of the Strong Playthrough after I finished my way of the Samurai Playthrough. I took your advice and used the Axe Rage, along with the White Lotus Fists, and used the Battering Ram Fist Skill, and upgraded the KI and Defensive Passives. Since I was in my 2nd Playthrough, I used a different armor set than you recommended. I'm currently using the Diehard Armor with The Legendary Mikawa Warrior Perks. It's a really good Fist Set IMHO that has Perks to Melee Ki Critical, minuses to damage taken, etc. The issue I'm having now is if you use all 6 pieces, the perk you get with 6 pieces you get Melee Damage Critical at 15 percent. In your build, you use the Axe for rage to boost your Fist Damage, but then you forgo using the Hikoemon Ichimonji sword. I'm experimenting now with seeing if the melee critical perk is worth now having the Axe Rage. I know I can switch out the sword for axe, put on the rage then switch back to the sword for boss fights, but it is a bit cumbersome.. The next set I'm going after is the Brave Demon Fencer Set in the DLC. Once again, awesome guide!!!
For my first build i went crimson build aka fire build with Switchglaives as my main weapon i beat the game already on the first difficulty and plan to beat the rest.
you make the Shibata boss look so easy, it have taken me ~50 times so far and i still haven't defeated i yet XD. because i don't have enough onmyo and ninja capacity for that much spell but i'm too lazy to leave the mission, grind and defeat Toshiie again. Great vid btw.
I'm far from end game atm and still have to do many early game builds so it is going to take some time to make that build. Mid game (for 2nd and 3rd difficulty) might come alot sooner.
Your endgame build should be something like this. *Equipment Set* 6 pcs Susano Grace + 7 pcs Magatsuhi Grace. This build is all about awakening Yokai weapon (+50% melee damage); Versatility stack (up to +60% melee damage); and Yokai ability spam (+50% Anima Charge with awakened weapon). Main weapon should be Tsuchigumo Claw Fist for its corruption property. The rest can be anything so long as they complete Susano + Magatsuhi set. *Attributes* At least 150 Constitution/Courage/Magic to activate their Ultimate ability and enough Stamina to get B agility at 70% max weight. The rest is up to your personal preference. *Recommended Effects* -Sentience Charge -Melee Damage vs Zero Ki enemies -Anima Charge (Melee Damage) -Ultimate Constitution -Ultimate Courage -Ultimate Magic -Life Recovery (Amrita Absorption) -Melee Ki Consumption -Melee Ki Damage -Corruption Accumulation (Enemy)
Hahahaha. Great comment. I'm not a skilled player though. I just understand how the game works. Also sold my ps4 but village girls can come marvel at the PS5. I wouldn't mind.
The ragebuff is nice but the way it slows you down in heavy can be pretty painful against fast bossfight's. Overall thanks for the build guide work's like a charm. I'm running through those level like naruto on crack awesome!

A bit late but split staff has imo the best overall range, although it requires a quite high skill ceiling. It can do a lot of damage. Fists have a very good set of skills and it's attacks are extremely fast, even the high stance attacks are quick. It also decimates ki (At least when I've tried it). I'd say it's a very fun set up to run for early game, and is beginner friendly
Curious as to why you say first 100 levels but dont actually show the stat distribution to that level. Kinda confusing. Also this build doesnt seem to take advantage of the fist unbroken skill using high stance and heavy armor. If I am just not understanding please let me know
To add to what was said, DON'T waste money early game level matching. That's absurdly expensive and you're wasting gold big time. Find the smithing texts and craft.
@@rpgdivision okay I'll give it a shot :) I was struggling badly with Ki but learning to double flux helps. Have any good cbo suggestions for keeping fists buff up?

It's definitely viable for first playthrough, though you may want reset your attribute once you unlocked remodel. Fist is an excellent weapon. In fact, I'd say it's THE best weapon in the game. Beyond Infinity is the highest dps skill in the game; it melts bosses faster than Odachi's Moonlit Snow, Dual Swords' Water Sword, Splitstaff's Dragon Dance, etc. It cannot be deflected, and it has crazy high ki damage and break. You can stunlock bosses with it. Other good skills include Battering Ram, Kick Cycle, Archer's Impact, Opportunist, and that one skill that drains a huge amount of Anima (forgot the name, it's in the lower left tree).
@@badplayer4348 Because weapon scaling attributes can be changed with remodel and transform bonus. Why raise strength, when you can increase melee damage AND ninjutsu power with dexterity? Is this correct? It may be op but im not sure if the playstyle is fun.
Is it just me or do fists/claws take more practice to get good with than any other weapon? It's been slow-going for me learning the ropes of these weapons honestly.
