I’d have gone shorter in the back, but it does look a lot better. The mullet you get when growing out a buzz is the hardest part of the grow out. I get so disgusted with mine I just buzz it again.
I'm growing my short hair out. Seeing how the back grows faster, that's the only part I've been trimming, so that way when it grows out the back and the front will be pretty much even. I did this last year and, then I did a big chop this year. I'm starting to wear wigs now. Because this time when my hair grows out I'm not going to chop it off again.
It's funny because that was my favorite part. However my hair is very wavy and that works well on short hair for me, it styles itself
Same with me, i’m stuck at a 35mm buzzcut every month or 2 because of the mullet effect, plus my hair is very dense and I have a very low implantation on my neck, and I hate it when it grows
yeah it was really the hardest part, but i'm finally at the next part 🤩
I just want to avoid cutting sides and front in this growing out phase. Just removing some length and more importantly the bulk from the back does wonders actually. Feels a lot cleaner and not as much as a "hey I'm trying to grow my hair out again and it's kind of weird right now" phase.

Please post a tutorial video on how to curl hair with just a blow dryer and a hair roller brush. I like your curls in most videos, but i cant afford the hair styling products 😅.

I just started growing out my pixie and it is so tough to be patient and not cut it.
Ohh, I've been there! I now have waist-long hair, but I still want to cut it off back to pixie sometimes, especially when it's really hot outside
I highly recommend using a banana clip it allows you to put your hair in a "pony tail" when it's super short. It gives a faux mohawk look.
The final result is giving very Ziggy Stardust in *the best way*. Looks cute, Stella! 😊

I have a huge undercut and when I decide to grow it out I'm wanna do a short style like this. Seeing your styles and colors makes me so excited. I've been dying my hair since in elementary school (only highlights of blonde and pink at the time, full head at 13) and I've had every color in the rainbow but it still gets me excited even in my 30s. Love this cut .... I studied hairdressing in the UK for thw last 3 years and we used hot rollers alot and did a lot of shampoo and sets. Looks great ❤

I actually cut a pixie last year. Went shorter and shorter and it was really short for a while. I've started growing it out now and I'm at the same length as you now basically. Just got it dyed and a minimal cut also to freshen it up, but the hairdresser only cut it in the back just to clean it up so basically I just did the exact same thing just days ago as well. 😂
Can't wait for it to actually be able to be same length and like a short bob soon. Almost there now.
I'm growing out my hair too. I had it a bob on my natural curly hair in last October because of my tries to give myself a mullet cut, but from then I grow out my hair, had 2 trims and my hair is now on my armpits. I'm going to grow my hair as long as I can. I also want to donate it if I'd achieve a classic length (until my butt or something related) and after that I'd donate everytime I'd be able.
I don't know if it means my hair grows fast or not, but I try to appreciate my hair as a whole.

I had a quite drastic change haircut last week. I’m so surprised how long my hair stayed! I had 35cm cut off for a hair donation and then more for quite a soft layered cut around my face. I’m still not quite sure how to best style it but it’s so cool to have a change after having long hair for six years now.

One thing that is fact is hair does not grow evenly certain parts of hair grow slower on the head, if I was growing out a short haircut I don't cut it for at least a year, I just use headbands bobby pins and accessories to work with the style I would have left it , it looked kinda cool.✨

Love the haircut, and the color also and the makeup, in my case I would love to get some advice I wanna cut my hair but I wanna stay with long hair but I want it to feel different (I have thick hair that is dyed and last time I cut it I asked for a trim with layers) it is officially the first time in years I have long hair which I really missed

Great cut, good way to avoid an akward phase! But the styling in the end made the top front look a bit thin, I know it isn't though because when you just took out the rollers it looked really thick and full.

Gorgeous! The whole time you were pulling the hot rollers, I was thinking, "Brush it!" BTW, great visual sculpting with the lip liner. I get so tired of looking at young women and girls with dark lip liner and pale lipstick or gloss. I just want to shout at them, "That's not the way to use that." But I don't, of course not. I just go about my "old woman" business. Anyway, you are stunning, as always.

I think you should have left it curly on the top, clipped or braided the sides, left it a bit roughed up. Like a messy horse. Looks better for the cut though. 🖤
