Great to watch, you guys need to do more fittings of older golfers. The change in distance and height with your tweaks is going to make Guys like me come for a fitting. :)
Scott needs to come back! The banter between the three of you was great and i caught myself thinking that it would be great to have had a pint and watched the whole process in person. I suspect there would have been quite a few belly laughs involved.
It’s like watching an episode of Still Game. The patter is brilliant. We need to see a video of the 3 of you at the “Clansman”. Club Champion After Dark. 😂
Hi Ian! You had mentioned in this fitting that Mike’s grandfather was coming into the ball flat. That his low point was just at the ball or a little behind. You said you could hear his contact scrapping the mat. Then you said you guys may need to look at the sole in his fitting. Were you thinking a thinner sole might help or a thicker sole? Thanks, Joe
Great banter and superb fit, well done guys. This is the same clubs as Joe fitted me for from my P790’s. The Paradym is such a great club. When i hit my 6 iron now it feels as easy to hit as my old 9 iron. Great video keep them coming 🤙
Hi lads really enjoyed the fitting and how slight adjustments can make a huge difference. Are there new Paradym irons due out ? You mentioned you can't get them as the iron is discontinued ? It's a set of irons I am interested in but no point getting them when a new version is due.
Mikey great Job for grandpa you just made him more Proud of You and now he Needs a New Putter. Mike get Grandpa But and Put a AutoFlex iron shaft to see if he can Control it and more Distance so he Can play the Blues again. Thanks Mike I would love to have you fit me .
Dave, I’m fairly new to the community and also to understanding fitting/technology. My swing and club speed is similar to Scott’s. I think I heard that they “flattened” Scott’s lie to reduce a right to left flight. Any idea what that means? Trying to get up to speed on some of this analysis. Thanks.
@@jimvoelz7444 the toe of the club is up in the air as opposed to the sole being flat against the ground, so they either bent the head to lower the toe or changed the head to one that sat flat against the ground. If the toe is up it promotes the ball going left. Usually a fitter will raise the toe if the player is a slicer.
@@botrott thank you so much for taking a few minutes to explain this. I’m really enjoying the channel and all the nuggets of information in each of the episodes. Appreciate it!
@@scottyeaman8377 wow....blast from the past Scotty. Been tuning into Club Champion recently and here you are on their vid. Last time i seen you was part of the undefeated pool team the in the 19th Hole....must be 30 years ago if not more. Hope you and your family are doing well. Clarky
but why not put the new shaft on 223 again to see if that works still? While the Callaway is a lot more forgiving, I just want to see what happens with just a shaft change.
Certainly looks like an improvement over the HMP, though he wasn't warmed up when he hit his gamer. And, Ian hadn't told him to swing harder so could be more apples to apples than it was.
Ian, thanks for your reply. The new designs are quite good. You have quite a bit of overlap currently in your offerings. You have done reviews on quite a few direct to consumer offerings. I thought you might find it of interest like these other DTC offerings.@@ianfrasergolf
Also, I am not affiliated to Maltby in any way other than sometimes purchasing from them. I recently built TS-3 irons and they are supper!@@ianfrasergolf
I love it when guys selling clubs take a person hitting a steel shaft, ask them to start cold, hit their club, and then proceed to "fit them" by putting them in other clubs with varied graphite/fiber shafts (that coincidentally they can sell), and never touch the shafts on the clubs they are currently hitting. Oh yeah, and convince them that because the "new" club goes farther, they will be better. WOW. Great job guys! I actually carry 13 drivers and a putter in my bag, because they go a lot farther than my old irons
Good to see Mikey get to do his thing too. Speaking from personal experience, he’s world class all the way!
This banter is exactly what I needed this morning, cheers y’all!😂❤🤙🏾
The chemistry is just grand with you guys. Great video. I love the fit videos with players that aren’t single digits.
Love these fitting videos! So entertaining and so informative from a tech standpoint 👍🏻👍🏻
Yeaman is a gem! Would watch his fittings every time.
Mikey calling the plays with Ian doing color commentary was perfect! Keep it going boys.
These are the club tests and fittings I really enjoy. Getting a good player another dimension of his or her game.

Love yeamen videos super authentic & funny banter great vid lads
No, Scott must return. Have him on the Q&A. Love ball busters.
Had to put on subtitles for the Scottish banter, such a great video, really good results from an amazing fitting
I saw the same type of improvement with the Paradyms. They are so good on distance and accuracy.
Wow this gentleman has effortless power. Great swing and he hits so far
Amazingly effective glove change
Love the banter, some great results here! Love these kind of fitting videos

This was fun to watch. I really like watching these fittings. It would be cool to see variations of mid to high handicap
That was brilliant. All the best boys from wet and windy Scotland.
Gotta be killing Ian to have that green stripe in the Club Champion logo 😂.
Super fitting. That side view of ball flights, before and after, is stunning. Big ball speed gains.
Great fitting! He has got to be happy!
Great, Great fitting video. I especially appreciate the mid-handicap fittings,
Absolutely love the banter!! Great fitting too :)
Such an informative and funny video at the same time 😂 brilliant series
Scott is a legend. hope to see more of him in the future.
Great stuff ,regular guys getting dialed in with the optimized equipment. More of this please! and Thanks!
Will done gents, will be looking for a bag analysis soon at Glasgow 😊
Love these fitting vids, keep them coming!
Great Video, Shows the value of the right combination shaft and head can do for a player!
fitting videos are the best and yeoman is hilarious. let’s see him get fit for fairways and hybrids next! he can come paint my house lol

Very interesting fitting. Really enjoyed the video.
we love the banter from the boys
That’s hammered!!!! 🎉
Great video guys 👍. Good numbers and another happy customer.
Any thought to just “fit” the hot Metal pro with the mmt shaft and different lie? Almost the same specs as paradigm, thanks!
We would Really like to see you guys test the new Fuji Axiom shafts in the Ping i230 irons.. and the Titleist T200..low to mid handicaps
Such a great swing! Wow! And even better banter 😂
Thank you for this video as way more relatable to us mere mortals probably 80% of golfers
I love these!! More please!
Brilliant - great banter

All fitter Mikey!

Did you guys consider a shorter shaft to help with strike location but also with lie angle?
WOW...the ball speed gain without having the player swing the same is AMAZING!!! That is what proper fitters can do.
We need these uncensored
That’s what I’ve been saying!!!
Just arrived paradym 5-AW same as your review mmt 85 Reg lamkin std grips 1 week 1 flat look great fit myself while watching 😂
Yea man!
Wish you guys would've tried the PXG with the 95 gram. He was hitting that head pretty flush too.
Great to see something for us older guys,at 75 we can only dream.
Just curious why you guys didn't try Titleist 350's?
he too good for those
Bring Scott back tomorrow!
What’s sort of iron head would you recommend for a picker with a 0ish aoa even when I try to get steep I’m -4 down tops

I think an autoflex in the irons would give Grandad Scott a heart attack! 😅
Now this is how you have a proper fitting tweaking the lie angle brilliant 👍 and the banter making you relaxed 😎

I heard new irons coming out? When?
Nice gains all around! MMT's seem to still be holding their own. Di you fit him with taper or parallel version? THX!
Cool jump in club head speed from a less upright lie angle so he can go at it.
Amazing video. I just hope the next Paradym doesn't look like a kilt.
I really hope the new Paradigm looks a little better in the bag.
Scott "Hot-Shot" Yeaman.....but what happened to the green glove?
Had to go!!!! I’ve got the sweatyest spanners around so actually change glove few times!!!

If Ian was a tour golfer playing at the Master
I guess he would refuse the GREEN jacket if he was to win
Only Blue in Ians wardrope lol
Just curious... did you try the mmt shaft in his 223's? If no, why not? Thx!
Ball speed drops large in the 223 for Scott. Combo of things that makes the PARADYM iron so much better for Scott.
Great fit. How tall is Scott boyz?
Scott is around 5ft 11”
Don’t listen to Ian Fraser… slightly over 6ft !!
The banter continues. Thanks for the response gentlemen!
Hilarious…bring him back again
P790's not tried? That guy's a lot of fun. Even though the closed caption struggles to clear him up.😀
but why not put the new shaft on 223 again to see if that works still? While the Callaway is a lot more forgiving, I just want to see what happens with just a shaft change.
Equipment reviews are good, but if you guys would film more random club fittings from your customers it would be way more educational and entertaining
Mikey lives Special Reserve 🍷
Amen!
Hoops supporter with that glove..
" some of the best improvements I've seen in an iron fit in a long time" Ian...didn't you fit him for the last set of irons? 😆
Get Scott a fairway wood in there to keep up with those irons.
so he fully switched to the callaways, or only in the 6i?
Ian’s accent gets a wee bit thicker with a fellow Scott in the room, or is it just me?
It definitely does! 😂
Calvin Creen!
Mizuno 223s are amazing. I love mine
Someone fit this guy for a new glove!
Certainly looks like an improvement over the HMP, though he wasn't warmed up when he hit his gamer. And, Ian hadn't told him to swing harder so could be more apples to apples than it was.
Disappointed to not see Axiom or P790..
🤣🤣🤣🤣glove ....get rid quick I'd have sent him home immediately 🤣🤣
It still puzzles me why you don’t test Maltby irons
