My favorite Marvel character is probably Iron Man or Wolverine, and as far as Marvel vs DC goes, I'd say I like both equally (Marvel has better movies, DC has better comics).

BHL Hudson it is okay, we're not hear to hate you because we think you gave Guardians of the Galaxy a score that we thought was a bit too high, of coarse the movie is really awesome.
BHL Hudson I still liked the first Captain America even though I liked The Winter Soldier better. Those were the really best Captain America movies ever made and the other ones in the last century were garbage. Probably the worst of those films would have to be Captain America (1990).

Just found your channel and I am already in love with it!! Guardians of the galaxy is so good definitely one of my favorites next to the avengers, the first one was awesome and I watched age of ultron last night and honestly I really liked it you see a bit more back story on the characters, as well as the new characters introduced and it got me really hyped for the next marvel movies!!!
I know this is a little off topic but my friends and I were wondering who is your favourite Marvel character and do you prefer DC or Marvel?
I think I'm the only one who wasn't crazy about Winter Soldier. It was a basic spy thriller. Nothing particularly super-heroic or special about it. You could swap cap with Jason Bourne and it wouldn't change at all. It was too toned-down and at times seemed almost ashamed of the brightly colored source material. I was really disappointed and it stands as one of my least favorite Marvel movies. On the other side of the spectrum is Guardians. It was fun, not afraid to embrace the silly side of the mythos and a much braver film altogether. With the people behind Winter Soldier taking over the Avengers franchise, I am genuinely worried that they'll wash all the color out of what has been a layered experience. Making things dark and gritty is the childish way to maturity. Embrace the material or go home.
In Captain America 2, that knife fight was amazing, but I also love that elevator fight and when Cap took down a jet with his shield.

Iron Man: 8/10: This is a good start to the MCU. Last fight was pretty generic though
The Incredible Hulk 6/10: Well... its better than hulk
Iron Man 2: 4/10: TO THIS DAY i'm still trying to understand the plot of that movie.

when I was a little kid I thought ironman 2 was a masterpeice. Now it's meh.
This just made me think that considering Incredible Hulk and Iron Man 2, DC isn't doing bad at all! I am not a big fan of Cap America 1st Avenger but then apart from Iron Man, Marvel too started with not too awesome movies. I guess the only mistake DC made was initiating Justice League too early.

Incredible Hulk will always be my least favorite
My favourite Marvel movie to date (right now) would have to be Ant-Man, or Avengers: Age of Ultron (although Guardians of the Galaxy and The Winter Solider aren't to far behind) And my least favourite Marvel movie would be The Incredible Hulk. My favourite scene was that last fight between Hulk and Abomination, but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be.
This list is pretty spot on in terms of rating! (In my opinion). I love all these movies, its a given that some are better than others and you can't always top the previous movie! But overall its a great consistent universe! And with Cap 'Merica the 1st Avenger, wasn't a huge fan at first but slowly started to love it. Its a good movie!
Ok, confession time: I preferred avengers 2 to the first avengers completely. Most of the complaints are stuff that can be said about the first avengers, or are just stuff like "The first avengers was bigger" if the first avengers never existed, and avengers 2 came out (and still, somehow made sense) people would like it just as much as the first one, most of the complaints are just nitpicks.

I'm shocked at how high you rated every film. I'm a huge comic nerd and there are a fair number of these movies that don't deserve better than a average rating.

You know that an 'out of ten' score system doesn't mean that a six is bad. More like above average.
I don't get how people like either of the Thor movies, especially in comparison to the Incredible Hulk... I mean, I think that movie aught to be in the top 3 best Marvel films list, not just the MCU, but EVERYTHING owned by Marvel. Also... Guardians of the Galaxy is good... But really nothing original.
I DO, however, agree that Captain America: The First Avenger is way better than most people find it to be. And, yes, while pretty much all the Marvel movies have phenomenal soundtracks, Iron Man 3 might very well take the cake.
