Aurora is very strict when it comes to people touching her music/art/magic. She said once "I need people on the stage who don't have to look at the notes". She produces all her music videos herself and writes her songs herself and is also producing it on her own terms. She always studies before she writes an album the gods we can touch was inspired by Greek mythology. She made a book out of her notebook were she write her lyrics and made plans. She is a genius and special.
Yes! I remember in her documentary she was very unhappy with an album and told her team she wasn’t going to perform a song if she didn’t like and they were satisfied with it but she wasn’t…I could understand both sides of it a bit but I really liked that she was strong on her stance, and it’s 100% fair…you can’t expect someone to perform music that they are not passionate and I just love her transparency.
@annastewart7139 Yes, I also watched the documentary on the TV (I am from Norway), and it is amazing. She is just so pure and strong! She has changed my life with her words and music that saves my soul. I am forever grateful for the gift she has made for me, for all of us! Going to her concert next week!!!!🥰

They are her band members indeed. Magnus Skylstad on the drum is her best friend and the one she is most together with in the whole world (her words) and he has been with her from the start of her career. He is also a producer and songwriter besides musician and he has produced albums with Aurora.
Fredrik Svabø on guitar has worked with Aurora since 2018. He is a musician, producer and composer. He has also worked with anpther big Norwegian artist, Sigrid, who is also one of Aurora’s good friends.
She works with a lot of great musicians. Another Fredrik (Vogsborg) she used to work with (he was in the Haik documentary/concert and was also the band leader. He is also a musician, producer, songwriter and composer and vocalist in the indo/pop band Casiokids, also from Bergen. She works with several great musicians. There is also Silja Sol who usually has had the beautiful vocals as Auroras backing singer until she focused on her own solo project. Many of the musicians from her hometown Bergen and in Norway in general are helping eachother out in concerts and albums etc and some are part of several bands….with either playing instruments, backing vocals, producing etc. Bergen is the city with the most talented artists/musicians I would say and the music environment there is great. Alan Walker and Kygo is also from Bergen and the only world idol winner, Kurt Nilsen..

When I learned that, I became convinced she is my twin separated at birth haha. I play a similar type of music, but my main that I listen to is metal, often pretty heavy. It’s just easier for my little hands to play folkie indie pop on the guitar lol. Metal makes you feel and I think that’s what I love about it, and what I love about Aurora. I’ve seen a fair amount of self proclaimed metal heads who love her so

Her band is incredible. The genius drummer is Magnus and he has produced her last few albums - which are absolutely musical masterpieces. Yes her guitarist is a mad scientist of beautiful music too. And yes the studio Cure for Me is a bop, perfect for a dance floor. She even created a dance for it in her music video.

A fellow reaction RUclips creator once said of Aurora, “She is Mother Earth’s spokeswoman”. Yes, and also spokeswoman for humanity’s good. I am convinced she was sent directly from Heaven’s Angel choir to speak to us directly, through music.
Aurora prefers small shows like this as well. And notice how the crowd listens to silently until Aurora gives them the signal to sing with her? Nobody wants to sing over her beautiful voice. Even the people recording are holding their phones low as to not ruin the show for others.
I'm so impressed how she dance and play with the low and high notes!
You should definitely check out Wardruna feat Aurora - Helvegen (live), it's a life changing experience.
Awesome seeing you guys react to this special performance, which doesn't get the attention it deserves. The video and sound is so good, and yes, very intimate. And Aurora's special and compassionate personality is on full display too.
The drummer, Magnus, was with her for most of her career, before leaving a year or so ago to concentrate on his first love of producing (which I assume he'll still do with Aurora). Fredrik is her third guitarist, but they've been together for many years now (including present), and it's my understanding that he works with many Norwegian artists. She has always had a great band and sound engineers, so I'm glad that you guys pointed that out!
Seeing that you're open to longer performances, I would love to see you react to her Nidarosdomen concert, performed in a very old Norwegian cathedral. It's about an hour. I consider it the best recorded concert I've ever seen, from any artist. If you think this concert was high quality.....
The HAIK documentary and concert togheter is only 1hour too!

Not only is Magnus a great producer, and percussionist, he's also an amazing backing vocalist. He's also Aurora's best friend in the entire world. Fredrik is amazing too. He perfectly accompanies Aurora in her acoustic sets. I can't judge the people taking video since they are keeping their camera low and not restricting anyone's view of the concert. That's the most respectful way to record songs at a show.

Aurora is art in human form. I love that she puts her soul into her music and shares with the world all these powerful and important messages, I love that she really feels every single word she says. She’s amazing, my favorite artist of all times
How gorgeous. This setup is so simple that nothing blurs or hides their talent. And her raw vocals, in the forefront, are simply breathtaking... I understand that she needs to explore sounds, but for me everything here is ideal for her powerful musical magic to work in such a magnificent way.

I love this concert! The "Warrior" song is what generated the so called "warriors and weirdos" wich is the name of our Aurora's fandom.
HAIK, KEXP and Nidarosdomen is fantastic, but this one makes it to the same list.
You have to watch The seed mv. You will not be disappointed!

I love to see musicians react to Aurora and her fantastic band, recognizing the skills it takes to create all the magic moments 🤩 Please remember to check out the Cure for me MV/studio version, like you said. It's a gem, packed with details and layers and beauty and fun 💎 Another great, intimate concert with the full band is the KEXP Iceland show (look for the big, brown jacket😉), where you really get to see each band member and Aurora shine like the stars they are 🌟

Great stuff, and thanks for showing the whole thing😄. Love small stripped/acoustic sets from Aurora. As fantastic as the Nidarosdomen concert is, it's not one watch often. My goto performances are this one, the first KPEX concert, The Honda Stage and her Tiny desk. Watching her live in about two months, and really curious about her new songs live.
I think I watch KEXP about once a week. It’s my happy place.

The last song The Seed, you should watch the official video...she's amazing in that. Also Through the eyes of a Child live at Nidarosdomen is out of this world, it really highlights her vocal range. It's the oldest Cathedral in Norway and has a choir. You'll get chills and goosebumps, the acoustics are phenomenal!
She does do a concert in a church have you guys seen that one?
I love this concert of AURORA. It is a wonderful example for dynamics in musik and what it can do to you. Most of the popmusic you hear is remastert to its dynamicly death. Hearing Aurora, Frederic(g) and Magnus(perc) float together through the beautiful songs in this sensitiv way gives us the feeling back that music is more than an industrial product.
Great reaction guys. One of her best "small" concert for me. She wants always make a great connection to her public and it always so nice to hear her quirkyness. Her voice is so good her. See ya soon.

When they reacted to The Seed from the HAIK concert, they complained a bit about the poor video quality.

I love this intimate concert, but I love Nidarosdomen more with HAIK second, KEXP Iceland, Somewhere Else Festival Bergen 2020 and COP26 third

As an AURORA FAN and a watcher of many reactor`s, I would like to offer some advice. Do NOT talk during a song, STOP IT, talk about whatever you need to talk about, rewind it and start agin. It is VERY Frustrating and, I must say IRRATING to have such a good vibe ruined. But mostly you were ok, But I will NOT be subbing....YET
