I took delivery of mine a few weeks ago - absolutely love it! In the settings menu it has the 'Quiet Start Time' schedule which it definitely needs. Even in normal mode after about 3k RPM it sounds nice and fruity. I agree about being a bit away from the exhaust... if it drives past it makes a lot more noise than you think it it's making from inside the cabin.
Is it as bad on fuel as expected? I'm considering one..
@@Teej85 It's not great on fuel but not far off what similar SUVs get. I'm averaging 20.2MPG over the last 3k miles. Certainly not for everyone but I don't regret getting it.
@JJ452 Nice1, mate, I appreciate the response.. It's very tempting.. hope you enjoy it and kinda hope I talk myself into it
I just ordered mine here in US. Having owned numerous mustangs including a Shelby and a Saleen Extreme. The sporty look, cool interior and specially the 405 hp engine is what got me sold on the first ever Rager Raptor for the US market. And first truck I will ever own, can't wait.
Keep in mind that the very short bed of the Ranger limits its capabilities as a pickup. Congrats on the order and hope that you get it soon. I have been waiting almost two years for an F450 factory order, so it could be a while.
My dad picks his up next week! It’s going straight to the tuners to get the full 392+ HP like the Aussie and US ones
Who makes tuning. How much you got it.
Which tuners are you using ? And do you know what mods are needed
Owned mine for just over a month, about as big as you want in the UK I feel. I agree with every comment you made about the truck. Also its amazing how your smile during the experience matches the one I have every time I get into mine.
You gotta be johnny on the spot changing your oil in an eco boost engine. Change it at the absolute minimum every 5k miles regardless of what Ford says (I don’t know what they say. Any boosted engine needs more frequent oil changes than a naturally aspirated engine).
Still waiting for mine pal 😥
@markyes ordered end of May 22. Due in 2 weeks
@markyes yes. And I believe new factory orders now are over 18 months
What’s it like to live with day to day?
Still waiting on mine. Its been "in production" for over a month. I could have built it myself in that time.
With the V6 Ecoboost looks like a nice upgrade from the past one🤩
blows my mind they got rid of the 2.0 diesel for a 3.0 petrol v6 and made it look like that, its actually incredible and i wish i had the money for one
I've owned mine 2 months in Bangkok and it's the first car I've ever owned that I feel the designers had me in their minds. Get a race chip and fly over any surface. So comfortable too.
Looks great and sounds amazing, can't believe how much better it performs off-road than the previous Raptor model!
2023 ... sol back on good content, collecting supercar, nice new car test drive... next roadtrip i hope
Brilliant review, especially the last 8 minutes. You abandoned the review and had buckets of fun! Im getting one.
The perfect vehicle for the UK with the roads how they are these days! Tempted to pick one of these up as my new work truck!
The design is awesome 👌
There's already a few exhaust for this, here in Australia!
Supercars of London Awesome Review I think that Ranger Raptor is awesome and I can't wait to see the full Review
Well done to ford, putting a proper engine in this thing unlike the previous raptor
Smiling all the way through the video.that says it all
It still blows my mind that the same engine in the same truck produces over 100hp less in Europe than in America. This is a really cool truck but it desperately needs a deeuropeanization ;)
Id love to hear that v6 through 4" stainless straight through pipes
Love this pick up...
Well I’m sold 😆
Is UK getting the detuned lower hp version as other EU countries?
FORD F150 RAPTOR R ask if they have that available for a review..would love to see that....the supertruck
Can't wait to get the ranger raptor and leave it in quiet mode, every day, for the next 10 years. Coming from a rebuilt LS3, I'm over violent, shaking, loud noises.
Would put wider off road tyres on this.
I’m sold
I love the looks, just a shame about the limited colour schemes and not really a fan of the decals
A few minutes with a heat gun and the decals are gone.
What song is used in the intro?
For 70k you can buy a near new ford f150 in the UK
First! All the way from South Africa!
Looks fun
My f150 raptor exhaust pops n bangs in baja
Its a cool piece of kit. In the UK the fuel bill of ploughing about in this would drive you insane. You need a very deep pocket. Cool but not in the UK.
@markyes makes sense in America where fuel is cheap cheap cheap compared to uk. Its also too big for our tiny roads. Driving it here would just piss me off actually.
@markyes i always said it was a cool piece of kit. Check my original comment. I admire it. Just wouldnt have it myself. Not a pickup truck hater just not for me.
In the UK its seriously cool. People won't notice this in the US.
Driving it carefully on the road I managed to get 10 to the gallon
@@DAVELANN worth it
One thing. It's not a "car". It's a truck.
It's a ute
@@S_G_B "Ute" is short for Utility Vehicle. As in SPORT Utility Vehicle. This isn't an SUV. It's a truck.
@@MarkRenn The original Australia Ute was a car based vehicle with a bed (like an El Camino or Ranchero). Aussies then started referring to everything with a bed as a Ute. This is why we keep them isolated on an Island.
@@rich7447 I am well aware of this. But the racing series is still called Superutes.
AND.... There's serious talk about bringing cars like the El Camino and Ranchero back to the US market.
@@MarkRenn They have tried bringing the ute concept back to the UK several times and it has always failed. The only real success has been the Honda Ridgeline and maybe the Ford Maverick, but it is too soon to tell with the latter.
I have to admit that I haven't seen Superutes and the first time I read that my brain read Superuterus. LOL.
Isnt this the one that VW are borrowing ?
The Ranger platform, they may get a variant of the Raptor as well.
Im subscribed but your videos never show on my feed!

Elllllloooooo govnuhhhhhh
Raptor V8 R
Sounds like a civic !
I have one on order in Australia, we get the full 400bhp version here!!!
My V8 is a insane sound not a V6 😅
Here I was thinking you must've put an aftermarket exhaust on it, but no it's stock and has always sounded shit.
This bloke is getting terribly excited about this vehicle, after all it’s a lorry😂
$62,000 pounds? Cause that's $72k us which doesn't sound right. That's way too much for a mini raptor.
they dont look cool when you look at the price
Who edited the video? It's awful.
I’d rather have the US Raptor as it’s bigger and loaded with more tech and space
Assuming you're referring to the F-150 Raptor, we also have the Bronco Raptor and the Ranger Raptor is supposed to come to the states this time around. So we'll have 3.5 different Raptors. The half is because we have the Raptor R with the V8 from the GT500
It really sounds like shit when you Brits call trucks cars, and it's rubbing off onto my fellow American auto reviewers...
Auto reviewers in general are lost. A good 98% of them can't use criteria specific to the class of vehicle that they are reviewing. Everything is always judged based on criteria suitable for a sports sedan.
Make the most of your detuned raptor. Won’t be long and they’ll be banned, you know, to save the planet n stuff.
More of a show car than a worker, looks like it crashed into halfords, only 2.5ton towing capacity, definitely a poser wagon
It’s not a poser because it isn’t designed to do something it isn’t meant to do. It’s smaller, more nimble, and off road capable. If you don’t want that then it isn’t for you
@@ludda42 it's that simple.......
To be honest that’s what most pickups are here in America, the majority have never seen a trailer or hauled more than the occasional empty can or trash sack
Someone is salty
You aren’t buying a raptor to tow or do any work in. It’s a high speed off-roader.
