people are sleeping on current WRC, these cars sound super amazing with that turbo anti lag screaming like a lion, look insane with that absolutely crazy aero and are A LOT FASTER than the Group B Rally cars
We should pay more attention to this
I wouldn't say they are faster, they are simply more grippy

There is no luck , lot of guys works hard for safety
I mean that he had lots of luck the car didn’t hit him in that crash. And I also worked in belgium for better safety and work places for belgian pro rally photographers so know what I’m talking about.

Interesting how E30 M3 was so versatile, touring, rally and still competing 35 years later. But F80 M3 is a huge heavy boat.

I was watching it live on BT in the UK and from the front facing cameraI I actually thought he’d hit someone in a red bib. It was a relief to hear that no one was hurt, that was one scary crash and its the first time I’ve seen this footage.

Katsuta's out-of-control car didn't miss spectators by a massive margin.
I didn't realize before how close he was to hit people. Everyone stood on the corner exit inside rather than outside, after all. Former is usually the safer option, but not on this occasion.

I noticed that. They didn't show the shot out the front window again in any of the replays... I honestly thought Katsuta had taken the marshal out in the moments after... 😬

The security in this rally seems to be not the best.
Here in Portugal all the spectators are inside areas that are made for it and it's not possible to be off it.
Better for security and sometimes bad for viewing.

Irgendwie liebe ich die Porsche bei den Rallys :D Der e30 (?) ist auch geil aber der Sound ist irgendwie nichts :P Und unglaublich das du genau an der Crash-Stelle warst 😮Sah erst überhaupt nicht so aus als würde er euch so nahe kommen...wahnsinn. Ne Zeitlupe wäre noch cool gewesen. Ansonsten wieder hervorragendes Video!
