Good morning y'all! I seen on tv people were all upset and going to change phone companies because of the outage. That just goes to show 12 hrs without a phone and people start loosing it! We have had it to good for so long and people have grown soft. Nothing is guaranteed in this life regardless of who we are. Have a Blessed Day Friend! Justin

Guy walked into the ATT Store bitching his phone is used to run his business here in Connecticut, he was told they could not fix it in the store , problem was Nation Wide , So,,, he slammed his $1,500. Phone against the wall and watched it go into pieces as he says going to go to Verizon and dump ATT , well Verizon was down too 😂,

Very thankful my family still has my my great-grandfather's ham radio. The whole family took Morse code several years ago as well so we can communicate Morse code with approximately nine different countries my grandfather spent 43 years in the US Navy as a military engineer ship fabricator. 43 years in the Navy's a long time. My grandfather was a machinist in Philadelphia during WWII, he was a conscientious objector but wanted to work. I've got to brush up on Morse code and get a solar generator.

I have metro PCs ran on T-Mobile coverage and my phone a month and less have been goofing off. It's a psyop and yes our stuffs turning off. They're just running testing right now.
Finally starting to warm up here in Appalachia, just been running the wood burner at night and early in the morning put some old punk wood in to get us warm til the sun rises. People were going nuts just because cell phone service went down for some, crazy, glad I live in the northern woods, we can go on living just fine no matter what shuts down, have solar power anyway, it’s going to be a nightmare for a lot of people.

Blessed afternoon to ya my new Idaho Hillbilly friend. I just found your channel and really liked your down to earth vibes so I just subscribed. I’m a grandma and I really miss the way things used to be. This smart phone has wasted so much of my time. Yes it is a great way to find out what is happening all over, but……….. I miss that slower pace. I got so much more done before tv programs became available 24 hours a day and cell phones became available. Not to mention all the video games kids can play online on their phones or tv. When I was growing up. It was hard to keep us inside. We’d be outside playing games with other kids, playing hopscotch or jacks, climbing trees & roller skating or riding our bikes. We had to be called over & over to come in for lunch. We’d hurry and eat just so we could get outside. And if we were thirsty, we didn’t go in the house. We would just turn on the hose and let the hot water run out and when it turned cold, we would drink right from the hose. You can’t even drag your kids outside today. Modern kids have no idea what they missed out on and what it’s like to truly be a kid.

The younger people were the most affected by the cell phone outage. I hadn't known about this until days after since I hate phones, and I'm not too big a fan of computers (machine technology). They really seemed as if their reality was ending. I heard the financial collapse and something else will occur this year (2024), a lot of financial people are talking about it.

It was a Chinese hacker group.
It was a server node that had the wrong protocol installed that prevented endpoint device detection. The botched update propagated and caused a major outage. Poor planning on the IT end.😂

Everyone should get there gmrs license. Just applied for mine. Ordered a radio. And soon repeaters, and mobile antennas. Trying to get everyone on some kind of communication. All while studing hams. If alot of people was on gmrs and linked up more and more.alot would then not hafto rely on phone's. Or enternet. Is it perfect? No! But its a start.
I have T Mobile my phone and Internet was really slow it worked but it was slower than dial up. Blessings from Mt Shasta.

Hoof the ice sculptures were weak like fireworks this year! Our family lives in Valley County. Whoever made the decision to shorten and move the carnival is probably regretting that now.
The Mill had a snowman consuming a skier out in front of their place, but idk if it was even made of snow 🤪.

My family use to own all the cabins behind the Mill..Wish we still did My best Memories of growing up happened there

The children growing up with access to small town Idaho outdoor lifestyles have no clue what a gift they have been given til later in life. My niece in Oklahoma lost her cell phone use, but here in North Carolina, mine was fine. Strange! She is AT&T. I am Verizon. I don’t know if that is the difference. 🤷🏽♀️

I will miss the internet, but I lived without it for a few decades prior. Over 100+ food plants
