Being a truck driver, I wonder why people have to go to a restaurant for lunch every day and drink $8 cups of coffee on the way to work. If you prepare extra food at dinner, you can use the leftovers for lunch and if you save leftover coffee and microwave it at work you could save $100 or more a week, that's over $5200 ,per year! That will buy a lot of prep stuff!

Love my old Remington 552. Its very accurate and shoots 22lr, 22long, and 22 shorts. Without failures. This gun was made to use old time cheap ammo so the good stuff from today will really work magic. my 38 smith model 10 was a office trade in and it is butter smooth and fires everytime. i am guessing this handgun is around the Adam 12 days. keepers folks!

I have been hunting deer since 1967 and about 20 years ago I went back to hunting with open sights and old Winchesters . I have shot deer with 3 of my 1894 carbines , a 30wcf from 1898 , a 32 sp from1912 ,a 32-40 from1913 and my 94 26 inch bbl in 38-55 from 1919 , I don.t hunt near as much as I used to [old age catching up] but I managed to get a 6 pt ln November. Keep up the good work

HILLBILLY! I have a Winchester 30-30 lever action my dad gave me, it's beautiful, he'd take it for show to his gun shows.....well, my brother tried to bait and switch me , tried to give me the Marlin instead, but, he didn't succeed. That beautiful Winchester is one of my cherished possessions, it's from the 1930s, fully functional , Git Er Done!

Good Morning Hillbilly. I grew up in the jungle of Panama. I was raised around firearms. I'm going to renew my range membership today. I spent yesterday building custom kitchen cabinets. Half the base cabinets done. I get bored and learn new things. I stopped doing hazmat and learned metal fabrication. The first job I got was a ammunition feed systems specialist 😂 specialist because my efficiency rate was over a 1000% and the bar was set at 80% back in the 1940s 😂 I became the general managers assistant. I would run out of work. If I ran out of work, that meant I burned through the tough orders and took all the other orders the rest of the plant was going to fulfill that week😂 The parts guy didn't like me because I also was allowed to fill my parts bins because he was slow and had the entire plants orders to prep for. My favorite is the 50 mm Bushmaster cannon. That's my hobby. Armor and Weapons mounted to fighting Vehicles. I worked for Google and NASA fabricating metal. I ran a robot half the size of a Walmart. But hazmat pays better and I don't have a boss if I work hazmat. I work at DKI in Minnesota. I'm the Lead Tech, The Inspector, An Estimate, The indoor environmental tester, I'm going to get certified as a Lead abatement Supervisor next month for the State of Minnesota. MN is paying for my license every year. I haven't paid for gas to get to work in 5 years Hillbilly 🤠 God Bless. I didn't join the military, my dad was an Officer Special Operations Aviation, Infinity and Experimental Diving. But I absolutely am a Spec Ops. I can be deployed in a Real Zombie apocalypse zone or Ebola war zone and I'll be alright. You should of seen the inspection I did last week. I recorded a video while in a crawl space under a house with a sink hole under it. I don't ever record video at work 😂😮 💀🕷️👻😈 a dirty crawl space is better than crimescene cleaning.

My dad rechambered 2 Winchester Model 1892 rifles. One was .44-40 and rechambered for 44 magnum. The other was a .32-20 that was rechambered to .357 magnum. They are very sweet. I have the .44 and my sister has the .357. The model 92 has a smoother action than the 94. It was the rifle used by Steve McQueen in Wanted Dead or Alive, and Chuck Conners in the Rifleman. both guns were manufactered between October of 1891 and February of 1892.

I really appreciate your antique 22s especially the pump action. For some reason we don't see pump action 22s much anymore. I don't know why they quit building them but if you want a 22 that will fire quickly but still maintain accuracy I think that the pump action is the next best thing to a semi-automatic. Lover actions are fun makes you feel like you're John Wayne or something but harder to master than a pump action as far as getting accurate shot so. I have an antique bolt action that belong to My uncle who landed on Utah Beach I think D-Day plus one. I treasure that one and it is accurate as hell but again hard to get quick shots off if you need to.
Wondering what people think of the loadout I have. I have a 10/22 with a stainless barrel, a full-length barrel which you don't see in stores at least very often. I also have a Browning Buck Mark which is a competition 22 22 that's developed specifically for target shooting. So they're very accurate. I also carry a small but very good cleaning kit. Even though a 10/22 is probably a maintenance-free weapon to a large extent still good to clean it regularly if you're out in the backwoods somewhere.
I'm wondering about if you had to walk away from your house if you took those two guns. And also what extra would you take with you. I was thinking of taking my 1022 with five bx 25 magazines And then probably five of the 10 rounders. I made myself a good pouch for these out of the accessory pouch that comes with the mosin nagant. It will fit four. Then I carry my pistol with 5 total magazines. I have a leather pouch that will accommodate about 1500 rounds. Yes it weighs a little bit. But if you put it in your backpack it doesn't weigh enough that you will actually notice the extra weight. That is a lot of rounds and far more than any other gun you could carry. You could be out for weeks wondering around with that and not even come close to using your rounds even if for some reason not to defend yourself. If for some reason you had to defend yourself you have 5 25 round magazines. Many people would say that a 22 is useless in the situation. But you can get your attackers attention and let them know that you have plenty of rounds to defend yourself. Even if it is a 22 most people aren't going to mess with that. I'm just wondering what someone thinks is that a good kit to carry if you had to Walk away from your shelter or what not?

    Good Morning!
Lately I have been seeing stuff about how to survive a nuclear attack. Why? Scare tactics, or is it near? Nuclear is one thing we can't prepare for. Not long term anyway. I like that shotgun!!!! Very nice! I've had several pump 22's like that over the years. Both Winchester and Remington, but all of mine were either shot out, or had something wrong with them. I traded them off and don't have any left now. We have some old Winchester 94's but none with the half tube magazine like yours. Very nice!

My favorite antique rifle is antique 1895 Mauser action that was rebarreled in 300 Savage and put into a new walnut stock and scoped in 1946. All of my rifles are vintage and scoped. I'll have to protect myself from those who did not prepare.

My only rifles are a .22 Sears bolt rifle that my great grannie bought in the 30's for $3, and a commie Mauser that shoots 8mm with iron sights. That 8mm will blow a hole through the back of a 6x6 oak beam at 500 yards. When I go out crawling through my mountains, it's always strapped to my back, along with a 686 Smith. Boar country, go figure.

Its getting nutty man. Someone in the town I work in shoot the sign out at a fast food place last week for giving him the wrong sauce for his meal.
Went to a flee market Saturday. I saw an old Steven's 20gauge single shot $85 and and old Sears and Roebuck single shot 22 with a little tasco scope $75. I thought to myself someone young just starting out could use those and catch a major break to the wallet. At the end.of the market they were still there. I went to the guy and offered him $150 for both and he took it. He said a bunch of young guys turned there nose up at them because they weren't tactocool enough. I said there problem.

Couple of pieces of Ol' John Bowning's most popular designs there. Half magazine, pistol grip rifle length barrel model 94 is probably a special order gun fo someone back in the day. Eventually, Winchester made that as the Model 64 with just a bit different forearm and barrel profile. Beautiful handling woods guns, I've owned several, but over the years was always tempted by another shiny new thing, and those 64s are now fond memories. The model 90 was in every carnival shooting gallery, and tied to the handlebars of bicycles, under the seats of buggies and Model Ts around the world. If it's still got a good bore, it's a treasure, indeed! The Manton, well, Hillbilly, neat old shotgun, but please, make sure your life and health insurance is paid up if you insist on yankin' the triggers on that beast! Thanks for show in the treasures! A few points you may or may not be aware of,
    1) no 1894 Winchesters were ever made in .30-30 in 1894, Winchester didn't have the proper barrels until late 1895.
2)that underlever side by side likely isn't chambered in 2.75", more likely it is 2.5" and even if it is 2.75" the forcing cones are cut much tighter than a modern 12 gauge.
3)it appears that your locking lever on the shotgun is bent. This may be from over pressure issues with modern ammunition.
4)keep your head on a swivel and watch your six!

Good morning. Those tapped holes in the reciver on your 30-30 would drive me nuts. If you identify the thread pitch you might be able to buy or make some plug screws to keep dirt and junk out of the action. But thats just me.

I’m not certain if you consider a rifle built in 1954 old or not. My Remington pump action.270 still drives nails after all these years. The former owner had taken elk with it, so when it comes to shwacking meat, I’m not worried. Blessings to you and yourn.

you're outnumbered 30 to one by cityfolk. By the time they get to you, they'll have autorifles, night vision, night sights, armor, and you wont stand a chance with your slow arsed single shots, etc. this sort of 'thinking' went by the wayside over 80 years ago, with the advent of the .30 Carbine.
