Great video! I'm thinking of getting this to use to travel, would this fit under the seat in front on an airplane for example? Just how big is it? Thanks

Can it be what has occurred to me that technically most of those laptops we consider 15" are actually 15.6" widescreen ones and therefore indeed they will not fit as its over 15 being 15.6? So unless it says fits 15.6" better to assume it will be fine for 14" laptops but not what we take as a modern 15" (15.6" exact) .. Just wondering. I got this backpack just recently and my work laptop is a 14" one but will try some of the 15.6" I have here but Im most certain it will not accomodate it ( will update with the exact models I tried) - The Refugio 28L actually looks so good I might grab one up just for the fun of it

Weird. The 30L which they stopped making just seemed like way better back. Had a deep fish mouth opening which was wide so it was great. Also had 2 sections of zippered compartments so the bag just held way more. Even had compression straps which not only compressed the bag down but was great for taller water bottles. Even at 30L it just seemed like it held so much more. Even had a waist strap. I don't get it. The laptop compartment was on the inside, padded and I just checked holds my 17" Yoga. Not a deal-breaker for me anyway because I only take a pad on vacation. It is a perfect carry-on. I don't understand why they stopped making the 30L which I think was superior. Looks like you also better have the strap on the lap drop down before you open it up.

Are the 30L they deadstock ones that are always on eBay from Japan sellers? Those look really cool compared to the one I have in this video.

great review, really surprised that they have an entire compartment for a laptop but can't fit 15" laptops, I ended up grabbing the bag anyways since I like the way it looks and have a mba that is only 13" laptop, and after watching another review I did see someone fit one into the slot you showed with the strap.

I just went to look because I just recently got a 17 inch laptop..Not many choices unless you're spending way more money..

I watched this video while I had already ordered this backpack and was then very worried if my laptop would fit. To my surprise it does!
I say I am surprised because I also have a 15“ laptop which according to my research is actually wider as well as thicker than the laptop you used.
So why does yours not fit ?? So to anyone watching this - my hp zbook g7 does fit so your 15“ or 15.6“ will probably fit too !

Hi Samuel. Very strange indeed. My 15.6 Dell Inspiron definitely did not fit in any of those back flap pockets.

Dude it's a travel backpack not a climbing pack. Who climbs with their laptop? Pack it full of clothes for the week and stuff it in the overhead of most any airplane. Organization is done with packing cubes if one feels the need. I just feel like you are missing the intended use of the bag. Sorry, I have been shopping for a carry-on travel backpack all week and have become uncomfortably passionate about the subject, lol. Cheers!

I reviewed it as a travel bag and not a climbing pack. It is certainly inspired by the traditional alpine crag pack. I fancy it for both travel and climbing but not an EDC bag where you are towing around pricy electronics.

it looks like if you squeeze harder you could push the laptop in and zip it up

These bags suck because they don’t have any extra compartments or pockets
