    Probably one of the best product comparison videos I’ve seen on RUclips. Structured, professionally filmed, easy to understand, and you compare each feature one by one simultaneously. Keep it up, the hard work and time put into your content does not go unnoticed :)

    The old black hole 32L used to have a compartment for the laptop with a secure strap so it wouldn't slide around. It looks like this does not have that

      Yes! They also got rid of the secondary tablet sleeve. Patagonia seems to be going in a much more minimalist direction with a lot of their packs lately.

    I have the 40 liter which they stopped making. Perfect carry-on. Even has side compression straps. I leave for Scandinavia in 2 weeks and my 40 liter will be with me. Opens wider and has more pockets. I cannot imagine why Patagonia stop making the 40 liter backpack. It is perfect. Type it in your Google search to find it and if you can get your hands on a used one go for it. The extra space and the wide opening make it hands down patagonia's best backpack for travel. Not great for backpacking but definitely travel. They need to bring that back

    Would you ever use the 25L for weekend/weeklong trips? I want a bag that I can use as a personal item or close to it and I feel like that would be the closet of the two to be considered a personal item on most airlines. I was interested in the 32L but worry I’ll over pack it and then it won’t fit under the seat or in those budget airlines sizer boxes.

    • @Backpackies
      @Backpackies  3 месяца назад +1

      It really depends on how much you pack (or overpack) for a trip. 25L puts you in 2-4 day territory with clothing and toiletries but may be too small for a full week. Both Black Hole bags are very squishy so it wouldn't be hard to fit them under an airline seat as long as they aren't packed too full.

      @@Backpackies Ah okay. Got it. Yea I specifically want a smaller bag to make sure I don’t overpack and keep my bigger bags for carryon and longer trips. How would you compare the black hole 25L to the Refugio 26L then? I know the materials used to make the bags are different but volume seems very similar. For price it’s $40 difference. Both are top loading backpacks too and it seems the Refugio is a tad shorter.

    Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

    Hi :) would a 15,6” laptop fit the 25 liters? Just to be sure

    • @Backpackies
      @Backpackies  10 месяцев назад +1

      Hello! The laptop sleeve on the 25L is made for laptops 15" and under unfortunately. Go with the 32L for a guaranteed fit, it has plenty of space for a 15.6" laptop.

      on an previous version of 25l (shiny one), I was able to fit Lenovo Legion 5 15 which is wider than usual 15.6 inch laptops, but it was very very tight fit.

    Is the 25L unisex? They used to make a women’s black hole that is 23L for the older model, but doesn’t seem like there’s a women’s fit for the newer version.

    • @Backpackies
      @Backpackies  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, both backpacks are technically unisex. They unfortunately stopped offering a women's specific fit version of the Black Hole.

    Great review! One question, I’m debating between getting one of these or the North Face Recon backpack for college. I need it to fit my 13 inch iPad Air, 13 inch MacBook Air, a few notebooks/textbook/folders, and have a compartment to hold a calculator, pens, AirPods, and other little things. Price isn’t really a factor for me, so do you have any suggestions? I want to get the black hole but I’m worried about the lack of internal organization, and that it might be too big and bulky for class (if I get the 32l one). I’m a 6 foot male btw, in case that impacts sizing or whatnot. Thanks!

    • @Backpackies
      @Backpackies  6 месяцев назад

      When compared to the Recon, the 32L Black Hole is going to offer you the most open packing space for notebooks/textbooks. Where the Recon wins is with organization for small items since it has lots of smaller pockets. You should look at the North Face Surge as well since it has a laptop compartment with an extra sleeve that can be used for a tablet, larger main compartment + lots of smaller pockets. Hope this helps!

    • @Backpackies
      @Backpackies  10 месяцев назад +4

      They are "squishy" enough where they should be fine if you do not overpack but technically both are over many airline personal item size limits.
