No, the exhaust manifold is integrated into the head. The turbo bolts directly to the head. The after market turbo has a small adapter elbow, this allows it to also bolt directly to the head.
Oookey, thank you so much, I'm planning myself to do a swap of an Ecoboost but in my case it's going to be on my Ford Capri mk3...😏😏 All your videos are extremely helpful, thank you so much, is there anything (as some kind of code) that differentiate the first and second generation of Ecoboost? I meant the close deck, I know there is a "solution" on the new open deck blocks but I looking for the first and I can not find any code for it. Thank you so much again, if you are interested, i can show you how my car is going😬
No clue yet, I need to make to the drag strip at some point. It should be a high 10 / low 11 second car though just based off of power and weight. I would definitely need a driver mod to see those numbers though.
Just started watching this channel and i plan selling the complete 302 to do this swap. Great information for this swap.👍
Hell yeah! Thanks for watching!
I want to do a project like this one day.
sick build man. going to have to look into this for a grassroots car...
This guy's blowing this engine up! “Leaky fuel inject my ass”!!! Hydrolock situation coming soon
I'm sorry if this sounds dumb but... Isn't the Ecoboost exhaust manifold attached to the stock turbo? Did you change the manifold?
