Hey friend! You’ll be able to get it Monday! I’m sorry it’s been delayed. Lot of editing issues. I’m moving tomorrow, and time coding the chapters this weekend, and you’ll be able to find it at darcedynamics dot com as the top of this coming week. If you have any issues reach out to me and I’ll help!

@@DrewDarce I'm checking the website daily, but I guess it's still delayed?

Great tips! What is the most effective darce defense in your opinion (once someone has the darce grip)? I feel like late defenses rarely work

I don't think they work very well either, and (it's an appeal to authority but) I've heard Gordon Ryan, Garry Tonon, Ryan Hall, and Cobrinha all say over the years that it's probably the hardest arm choke to escape after the RNC. The best stuff I've found re: late stage defense is trying to get my belly or my back as flat facing the ceiling, while trying to broaden my chest and maybe get a thumb post in the grip, or try and palm strike beneath their locking elbow. When I see darces fail from people good at them, it's usually because they couldn't finish and had to let go (as opposed to the defender doing something crafty to literally "escape"). So, I try and make them think it's a little deeper than it is, and hope they just burn out. Does that help some?

Thanks for the reply - that’s my experience as well. The “skydiver” is the only thing I’ve had success with against decent people and it’s basically just praying that they’ll give up.
Your vids are great! I’ve seen your responses on Reddit over the years and was surprised that you train at Elevate. I trained there when I was a blue belt - say hi to Cody for me!
