Thats another example I'm talking about. They have sorta have that sound but its their only song they had before they flipped a little differently. Another example is Asking Alexandria - not the American average. - It holds that old classic rock mixed with modern rock/post hardcore/metalcore mix.

Tyler Short Ezekiel Pierson has been the vocalist since Denis departed. Denis can't join back since Sumerian and Ash Avildsen is pissed at him. Don't worry, Down and Dirty is still making music and they're about to release an album before 2016 ends or in early 2017. Kir and Ezekiel are the only known members, since Stas and Chris and Sergei departed as well.
Dude Dennis just left Asking Alexandria. Hopefully he returns to this band.

Honestly though... How in hell does he hit all those notes?? The range between them is insane.. He's like a fucking god
ian gillan one of the singers from deep purple had a three an a half octave vocal range ! so did anne lennox from the euerythmics , not a common vocal range , after years of smoking ah can manage 1 but hey ah play the drums so what , aye !
He sings a little over 1 octave in this song,,, that's not a huge range between them at all. 2 octaves if you want to include the talking esque vocals just before the breakdown. either way, 1-2 octaves isn't a huge range between the notes.
three and a half vocal range is pretty standard for most people. everyone gets focused on vocal range instead of worrying about how one utilizes that range... for example I have around a 5 octave vocal range. the highest I've gone being a D#7 exhaled Whistle note. lowest? I'm not to sure, but near C2 is where I head into vocal fry. but just because I have this range to my voice, doesn't mean I am suddenly a more advanced and better singer than someone with a lower 4 octave vocal range.

All the bands are using seven+ strings which is in my opinion fucking with the mid range of the guitar and its ruining the harmonic structure of the new bands. Its putting the song in lower key signatures as well and singers dont sound as good in those ranges

He has enough power to match the talent that Danny used to bring in terms of screams, and singing, this guy is the full package. If this guy isn't replacing Danny, I wish they would just confirm it. This band definitely has some similar sounds like "Stand Up and Scream" which would be nice to hear again in AA. I've loved everything AA did throughout their whole career, and am honestly excited about their new path. Anyway, even if this guys doesn't go to AA, I could get used to this band. Though it may sound similar in ways, I still think this band has their own sound. Definitely a great sounding band. (:

jessica roberts personally I feel it was just a publicity stunt sumerian did to get more attention on these guys. Which is smart af if that's the case. Ive been following denis for awhile and ever since the article AP did about it came out hes been rising like crazy. Im glad theyre becoming more well known, but I honestly hope he sticks with D&D because personally I feel this band has wayyyy better music, and they've only dropped 2 singles haha. If he does go to AA thatd make them a sick ass band again, but it'd be sad to say goodbye to this band :'(

Discovered them/him through Drag Me Down (since Nik Nocturnal reacted to their new song) and was wondering why everyone was disappointed, then got into Down & Dirty and Make Me Famous (iirc?) when I checked out what bands Denis was in before. And damn, this stuff is awesome. Love their EP's also. I hope the other songs of DMO will have at least a little bit screaming in them or some of the energy in this song. I swear, this song always brightens my mood and gives me energy, no matter what :D Masterpiece

He also scammed a few bands and people for money. He's a fucking asshole. He fucked up his reputation with Sumerian records and won't be coming back probably. He did this to both Make Me Famous and D&D.
AntiMaterija So far I have not seen anything that I believe. He left Make Me Famous/they broke up because they were just kids that were pushed into label contracts and touring too early, and they had enough. He left Down and Dirty because he got a much better offer: To be in Asking Alexandria. I mean, I play in an unsigned band currently. However, if I were to get offered a job with a label to a huge touring band, I'd take that any day (unless I had an issue with the specific people behind it.) My point is, that unless Sumerian releases a statement with proof that he has scammed people within their contracts, I don't believe he's "fucked anyone over."
MoriahLMusic Type in "Denis Stoff stole money from me". There is a HUGE amount of evidence against him. And also watch the stream Ben from AA made why Denis "left" the band.
AntiMaterija I have read over the email and text message proof from that video, and from what I can see Denis was being super nice and genuinely was trying to pay the guy back. Sumerian then told him they'd take care of it, but they never did. As far as Ben's "statement", Denis saying "AA does not exist unless I get what's owed to me" what if he wasn't getting paid fairly while being in AA? Or treated fairly, for that matter? We don't know what goes on behind the scenes. Touring full time is extremely stressful. Have you ever stopped to think that maybe he had to leave because of personal issues? I am personal friends with people who have left touring bands because of the same thing. It was contributing to their depression/anxiety in a negative way. We don't know what Denis is going through. I just want to give him the benefit of the doubt and, regardless of the whole money thing, whether he "stole" from people or not, I genuinely hope he is doing okay.
