As a Sudanese person from Khartoum that has lived in America since I was 3, I am deeply saddened by this. I was hoping my brothers in the South could finally find lasting peace now that they have their own country. Now we in the North have removed Bashir, I pray that our new government can stop investing all our money in military and spend it on improving agriculture. Sudan can easily be the biggest bread basket in Africa. I pray we are able to feed all those who are hungry in both South Sudan and Sudan. We in the north must establish peace in Sudan and help our younger brothers in the south promote peace there. May the children of Kush live united in their struggle for peace ✊🏿🇸🇸🇸🇩🇸🇸🇸🇩

You can't just stamp "democracy" and "free elections" on poor countries and expect it to just work out and everyone live together peacefully. When people are hungry, they clash.

Nothing comes to last forever! I still believe in South Sudan. If others in similar situation were able to make it through, South Sudan will surely make it too sooner or later. I am deeply sorrowed though.

I love that Aljezeera gives a balanced view of Africa. It's a painful story, but it is consistent with the Africa I know. Not exaggerated one way or another and taking into consideration all of the different sides. Talking to all the parties. Thanks for this.

Revitalization in solidarity with brothers ,sisters and neighbors as whole because revenge killing cannot harvest anything in return .peace offer us many benefits than conflict do.thus, in this revitalize peace agreement the peace conference will also aid and counselling the victims of this long conflict by using the methodologies and psychological healing of trauma so that the citizens can be recover from the shocks of losing close relatives and love ones.

There's time for war and time for peace.
Time for mourn and time for laughs.
This senseless war, that have killed tens of thousandth, more devastation, will one day ended in vain and the people's of South Sudan shall live in peace as Brothers and Sisters,in the promised Land of Kush.
All come from the same place, all go to dust and to dust all return.
May the soul of the people who deseaded rest in peace.

This journalist did not do a good job on this video. Nuer were killed in Juba first, no other tribe in South Sudan was targeted but only Nuer. In Bentiw, Bor, and Malakal, Nuer did not targeted civilians, only government militia who tried to defend the town from capturing them by rebel were killed. However, all South Sudanese reside in Bentiw, Bor, and Malakal, and When Dinka tribal government recaptured these towns, they Killed Nuer civilian alone. Some of these Nuer civilian killed on those town were on the government side thinking that the war is not between Nuer and Dinka, they thought it was certain groups of people fighting, then they got killed innocently. General Marial Chinon was the one who started killing Nuer i Juba. Marial disarmed Nuer presidential guards and killed them. While the rest were trying to safe their lives from Nuer who saw their other Nuer Killed, some were trying to run to store rearm themselves and defend themselves from killing, unfortunately they didn't make it, they were all killed there. So, you need to do more research to make your argument sound better and logical.
