I had goosebumps watching this. So let me get this right, fishing on the breakwater IS allowed now? Last time I tried to drive up there for a look there was gates and security and all kinds of excessive nonsense. I grew up over there, could see the breakwater from my bedroom window. Spent the best years of my life fishing that place with some good friends. Thank you for the video, I am gobsmacked! guess where I'm going next spring tides 😁😁
Me too i caught 4 codling one night there early 80s in the days when cod existed this far into the bay. Its absolutely scandalous that fishing less still night fishing is not allowed. Its all about insurance public liability. But what I dont get is how its allowed to fish the White Light/ Green Light in Barry. Isnt it all owned by ABP etc. Brynmill and East Side Sea Angling Club we used to fish it regularly and hold or attend competitions there. No wonder kids are getting involved in bad stuff if we take away their opportunities to do something positive/ constructive which teaches them about marine conservation

To be honest that’s the only time we’ve ever fished it so I’m not too sure! We fished there two hours up, 1 hour down🎣
