    Old dude, in a dugout, wrassling a 5 or 6' shark by hand. Not spearing, not shooting, using methods thousands of years old. And doing it well.

      @Savage Gentleman That's not really a new thing. The young believe the old to be weak, and the old believe the young to be naive. That line of thinking goes back to the beginning of human history. The more we change, the more we stay the same.

    • @TheDuckOfManyThings
      @TheDuckOfManyThings 3 года назад +5

      @Savage Gentleman Like is said, it's not new, it's just that our methods of communication have gotten much more public, so we're able to see it more often. It's not more prominent, it's more exposed.

    • @TheDuckOfManyThings
      @TheDuckOfManyThings 3 года назад +9

      @Savage Gentleman Do you seriously think that Gen-Z is the first generation to not respect their elders? Go back about four decades to the rat pack movies of the eighties, where every teen hated their parents. Or if we really want to go back in history, we can look at the Ancient Roman graffiti where they talked about banging each other's moms. "Based on history," kids don't respect adults. I don't know what invented history you think justifies your objectively wrong view of the modern generation's respect regarding our elders, but it deviates drastically from the one we actually have records of.
