Spots to fish local, DEEPS, on the right where the rocks split. JACKSTONES, off the end to the right. Porthcawl. Pier, pipe/bus shelter past the pavillion on the left!

Enjoyed the video both , most of my bass have been on whole baby squid. Think the doggies were coming off for 2 reasons.
1/ striking to early, let them really take the bait
2/ how sharp was the hook. another great video, plenty of humour. Keep uo the great work .

Cheers Dean! yeah the one i managed to catch i noticed it wasnt actually hooked the hook was sticking out its mouth. it was literally holding onto the bait.

If you use a running pennel rig you can bait one up ba realing in and just do a quick swap and back out👍

Fished there for years absolutely waste of time, winter on the east pier when it was allowed or the sea wall was my only success. A waste of bait money to just catch doggies

Yeah that's all we seemed to catch. Any suggestions in south Wales for a good mark?
