    nahhhh 2023 - Port Miami instead of fort lauderdale
    same for 24

      Just saw this video and had the same reaction when he repeatedly mentioned Ft. Lauderdale. It made me double-check the port info and yeah - Port Miami all the way.

    • @Masterbas1
      @Masterbas1 7 месяцев назад

      It was Fort Lauderdale for a bunch of years, probably a lot of his sailing, but I gotta say, Port Miami all the way as well. It was way smoother than any of the Fort Lauderdale sailing.

      @@Madmetalmaniac42069 The refusal to announce bands in a timely manner. The ridiculous merch system. And the social media posts which are frankly insulting to the fans. Don't misunderstand, it's a great experience once you're on board, but the overall vibe of it has been ruined for me.

    • @MrCadillacbob
      @MrCadillacbob 9 месяцев назад

      @@deslow7411 IIRC, the first year, the cheapest cabins were $666 (plus about $250 in fees). Now it's almost $2k. Add into that the cost for airfare and a couple of nights of hotels, and about a $600 bar tab, and it comes to about $3500 for me to attend. I can go to two week-long festivals in Europe for less than that.

    Sounds like a Metalocalypse episode. Being on a ship full of people you actually want to talk to sounds pretty good. I'm old, of course I'd rather do this than a regular festival. This makes me actually want to go on a cruise. I might even drink.

    Thanks for sharing. The experience sounds very familiar, except for the metal thing. I've done The 80s Cruise the past two years and I'm going again in a few months. They usually have a few metal-ish bands playing. One thing they have that 70k doesn't is a free drink plan for all passengers. 🎉🎉🎉
